Anyone tried a GT4 charge cooler on a Starlet? It looks easy enough to do.
-
Haven't heard back from you about the strut brace mate did you manage to fit it alright?
-
You're looking young these days, can you even see over the steering wheel anymore? :harhar:

Who actually cares about this cunt? :harhar: The jokes are funny for the first 5 minutes and then it's boring... same as Jade Goody and all the rest of them.

I'm sorry but that turbo's simply not big enough. Could you get a bigger one please? :harhar:

Anything Wrong With A Custom Intercooler Like This?
ste91 replied to ste91's topic in Intake, Turbo & Exhaust
Ah that's fine then, I have no worries about the piping I don't think it should be too hard, especially if I could get hold of a HDi hot side pipe then it would be a piece of piss. I'm not too bothered about it being "perfect" rather than functional and cheap. Even the expensive Blitz intercooler has a hideously shit piping route yet I don't see anyone complaining about it or it's cheaper copy (autobahn). The HDI kit would have probably been my first choice but after coming across a more suitable size core for alot cheaper and then a piping kit it just made me wonder why not many people do i -
The same setup on a hybrid CT9 would be fine. A Blitz K1 would be good but they're fairly expensive/uncommon. A Tong Turbo's GT spec would be fine. Alternatively if you fancy spending some money I've been looking at these Garrett turbos:http://www.turbobygarrett.com/turbobygarrett/products/turbochargers.html Take a look at the GT20 series, I think one of those would probably be better than a hybrid, but more expensive and a fair bit of fucking around as you'd have to get a manifold and downpipe made up to suit them and rotate the housing to fit properly.

You can get 180 on a CT9. Sparky made 185bhp/185ftlb with: air filter exhaust system exhaust manifold decat FMIC tuned on E-manage blue

Correction: Erm, please be ashamed of yourself. Please, when you go to bed tonight, think about how stupid you were to buy a Corsa.
-
As dub said it's going backwards, why would you want carbs? Even if you did, it wouldn't add 40-50 bhp.
-
I just seen you are selling some of the bits off this? If you got rid of the bottom bit of the front bumper where it sticks out and got some smaller wheels this thing would look a whole lot better.

I spied this intercooler on ebay earlier and it looks a good size for Starlets, about as wide as the WEPR coolers but not as tall: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NEW-SMALL-Intercoole...id=p3286.c0.m14 Would it be worth buying a universal core along with a piping kit similar to this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2-TURBO-INTERCOOLER-...id=p3286.c0.m14 to make a custom intercooler? It works out about £130+ cheaper than a HDi or Autobahn intercooler, and looks like it should work fine for the average CT9 user. Are those universal cores worth using or are they just cheap/badly made/low quality shit?

It's about as gay as that Corsa.
-
This is much better I'm not going to even comment on that Corsa though... there are no words to describe something that shit lol.
-
It's funny the first time but when you're trying to buy/sell something it becomes annoying.
-
When you write di.b.s without the full stops in the middle of it like: can i rub myself up and down you please. . . . ohh and Diby Dib Dibs it comes up with that load of shit which is fucking annoying!
-
There are certain times where it's the only word that makes sense.
-
Some of these automatic word changer things are ok but the one for d.i.b.s is just annoying!
-
That whole website is just one big rip off.
-
Get some white 5 or 6 spokes.
-
It depends which way you look at it and what you're into. Someone who likes this sort of car would probably look at a sleeper and think "what a fucking bag of shit".
-
Poor caribbean Starlet... it's been parked next to a fucking Saxo. White Speedlines look nice though.

No offence but I hate this. Each to their own and all that but it just annoys me when people spend so much money on things like this, it looks like you have crashed through halfords. The centre dash thing is quite cool, but the steering wheel looks like it came off a space ship, the bootlid looks like it belongs on a Corsa, the spoiler...lol... and the bumper, or should I say snowplough, looks like it could be useful with the upcoming winter weather. Don't take any of that personally but for the money you've spent on that paperweight you could have built a very nice performance orientated St

Not 100% sure on this but someone should correct me if I'm wrong: The engine will rev quicker and freely with a lightweight flywheel. The downside is that the momentum of the engine is reduced, for example if you're going along and take your foot off the throttle the revs would usually decrease slowly but you'd carry on going for a bit. With a lightweight flywheel the revs drop alot quicker and you would travel less distance than before. Not really a huge problem but it's just an example of how it affects the engine. I was going to say if you need your clutch doing then it's definately wor

Do it so the back wheels match the front ones (black centre, red lip) and leave it at that. Don't fuck around with the roof/bonnet.
