tbh mate there not the best coilovers for the uk road i would save your money and get a new set of meisters or BC's
-
I know what you mean mate when things never seem to look up for your car... they will though, take the opportunity to get the body work mint over winter, break the beast out in the summer with some fresh rubber and full street camber set up and enjoy pasting everything round the twisties still shit about the people doing that!.. perhaps check see if the car park had cameras and cctv that court the action
-
i would have jumped in my car and run the fuckers over, smash up my car and i'l smash up your legs! thats proper shit mate! any idea who they where or just randoms looking for shit?
-
anywhere really mate... just find a small spot out the way of any major heat source i.e. mani etc and make sure you dont kink the vacuum lines, keeping them as short as possible will also help with a more stable boost control
-
i would replace the water pump while your doing the belts... it will be the original 15year old one so would be worth it for piece of mind

small bump... not long for me to get my unfit arse into shape. Running really isn't my forte though haha, but slowly its getting easier -
http://www.tm-developments.com/index.php?m...products_id=281 might work on the rear as well... would be pushing it out of its natural position but if your going for hella flush you wont be going anywhere fast lol!
-
Sup dude, i always wanted to do that so you should defo look into it... best bet would be American import, join one of the low offset forums. wheel whores etc etc. also to get mega low offset the rims get bigger... only decent english small rims would be rarerims drift offset grids, 16x8: http://rarerims.co.uk/alloys_sub2.asp?id=42 you will need to roll your arches (look up arch enemy) and you will need adjustable camber bolts as the Apex dont have camber adjustable top mounts, or source some camber top mounts.

not necessarily... the air doesn't pass back through the turbo as such but kinda gets chopped in the blades then when your back on throttle you already have pressure in the intake. there was a comparison somewhere but given the situation on a drag strip (blocked dv) and Vent to atmosphere dv (VTA) there was a noticeable increase in gear change time and response from the car with no dv. so it can aid spool, yes you may slow the comp blade momentarily but the increased pressure when back on throttle over comes that minor slowed rotation. damage will only occur on older style turbos's with not

or just sell which ever and have a silly one for work and everyday... whats the point in driving round like a granny
-
just to add... stalling up the compressor wheel doesn't make the wheel go the other way. the air simply gets pushed back towards the turbo, the pressure hits the comp blades and chops the air giving that distinct 'flutter' noise. yes over a prolong period of time, say years it might effect the life of the turbo but there so cheap whats it matter if it poops a seal or bearing lol ;) I had no bov on mine for about a year... if i could i would have no bov on my subaru

you shouldn't be able to open the actuator fully by hand anyway... if you can the spring is probably fooked. when you get your hks you'll soon find you can barely move the dam arm let alone open it. the chatter you hear is completely normal mate, just the spring is on the hard side and not opening soon enough under the pressure. there isnt a definitive guide as each car varies so much, but basics would be take off your intake pipe (the back one with your filter on) swear excessively until you have managed to get the HKS actuator on and take off all the skin from your knuckles, adjust the act

...i thought it might have been, couldn't imagine with it being out for like 5days i would be the first to post it lol

I might be a bit slow and this could be a repost but... as ever some ube skillz from the block to the ken! #

i'm sure there have been many threads on it... the main outcome and wont differ is 15" for performance/handling 16" for looks/styling To counter act the increased rotational mass of a 16" you would benefit from a lightened/balanced flywheel and clutch set up. Performance isnt majorly sacrificed, just you wont get quite the same characteristics as you would running on 15"s... hope that helps

A nice stroked out engine with a big old gt35 should sort this out a treat .
