  1. Biggest stock Td05 Subaru's ran was the 16G on the old classic shapes. anything bigger and it will be after market. I ran a TD05 18G on my 05 STI, it was good Good move getting it RB'd. I would also look to get a billet chop wheel as there stronger and alot lighter so spool will be slightly increased. make sure the anti-lag is switchable... no matter how tough the turbo that's a sure fire way to kill them. I had it on my Subaru and still blew the seals on my TD05 with billet comp wheels .
  2. What size Size TD05 is it? 18G, 20G. is it a Mitsubishi/Subaru TD05 or from another model.
  3. hope you enjoy sounding like an annngry wasp lol. not my taste but i'm sure it handles well

Was going to look at a single T04'd FD today, insurance is fine for me now but my currant insurer (aviva) wont touch me but also wont let me leave without a hefty charge . looks like this one is going to slip me by till next year... I shale have a bridgeported single turbo'd FD!!
  5. Personally if your going for a big 5E build i would head towards the VF34 or VF35 which utilises the ball bearing design. the VF35 has the smaller p15 exhaust housing so will be better on the spool front but will still be good for 350bhp. perhaps even look at twin scroll options? it likely you will be having a custom exhaust made up anyway so having a twin scroll turbo and exhaust set up would have huge advantages in the spool and turbo pick up department, especially as you will only have 1500cc on your side haha. another option while looking at IHI turbo's is Garret. GT28 for awesome spool
  6. I'd prefer a small stretch rather then a balloon tyre personally but what can i say i'v fallen into the hype stance scene so am going to be bias.
  7. I run stretched tyres on my mx5, 8" and ET0.... abuse the crap out of them every corner and not to mention the private drift sessions i take part in . everyone has there opinion on stretched tyres, but something subtle like 195/50 or even 45 isnt going to pop off the rim or kill you somehow haha. stretching CAN go to far though.
  8. looks nice but defo needs to be lower to pull off the wheels. also white with chrome lip would = WIN!.... White + Chrome lip + semi flush= Mega WIN!
  9. Ahh man i'm soo glad you stuck with this and saw it out... now get it sweet as a nut and enjoy the bugger!!
  10. I miss my mr2! was rapid... its all about a turbo 2 though lol: Yours looks nice man, real nice colour. wide rims and a drop and that will be a dam fine looking whip
  11. There are far to many variables to give a simple 'this is your problem' could be plugs, could be naff fuel pump, could be ecu cutting because of fuelling, could be det. could be looooots of things lol. re gap your plugs and go from there. also ricky will be able to book a RR so if you want that go for it, will cost more but least you have a guaranteed mapping session.
  12. he has run a vast array of large turbo's but also likes to take his v down the drag track. 20G= massssive waste of time on a 1.3 imo
  13. Nope i was in the field car park along the edge in my grey mx5. Lol, made it way back to kent again... was low but nice and clean Was that the buddyclub crx? he was absolutely flying! sounded mean as fook aswell lol He was in the final and on the first run of the final he dropped a cylinder ... i was routing Tim to win. The sounds they made where unreal! huge crazy turbos spooling away down the straights
  14. ... Was probably being the key word lol, i havnt seen anything about it in a long time. onwards and upwards though haha, i'm so bad at keeping cars for a long time! this time next year i'l have DC5
  15. NIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICCCCCE
  16. I know its a tad chavtastic but i mainly went for the drift and time attack finals. The EDC runs where awesome those guys where just cranking the handbrake at over 110mph and killing the corners... truly amazing stuff! There where pro and club Time Attack on track but both sounding insane, puuuure turbo whistle and chatter... epic! didnt go to many club stands as i was to busy around the track but saw a nice black GT on the Kent modified stand i think and also Bildos old White V parked up right near me in the car park. I recognised it straight away but couldn't remember why, then wondered wh
  17. ct9 wont blow up but after 1.1bar it becomes highly inefficient and pretty much just blow hot air without any gains. around 250 with a super safe map is imo very very much the limits for standard internals... obviously someone will push more or has but if you want it to last for a looong time in the 200's is a safe level. also nice one lewis that's pretty mental, 1.5bar is going to be insane ;)
  18. this is a average ct9 decat: (SPS) might just be a different design...
  19. Gooooood man! i look forward to some awesome updates.... dont make me write a massive rant out again!
  20. shame about the bad paint, no interior, floating backbox and slightly over complicated mesh... and awful use of what looks like 3Ds max particle effects other then that its nice someone bothered to model a Gt haha!
  21. Duuude just throw a stock motor in there and get it running... this car is your demo car... its supposed to represent your work. you make some shit hot kits and this car really shows what your work is all about. Sell the suspension and loose half the cars looks and it will be a massive fail! the car is 99% done exterior wise, just paint up those last bits and you have a sorted car!! just remember your work isnt about engines its about providing some of the best kits available for the EP91/82's! I personally would throw a stock motor in enjoy your awesome car drive it round and rep your aweso
  22. Launch needs a little work but sounds nice and deep! for the price they do hold there own against higher priced exhausts for sure
  23. Ported standard mani will surfice for moderate boost levels i.e 0.8bar but imo even when ported limits the flow. Zisco or racetech would obviously be superior but if you are just going to stay on the standard ct9 and run standard boost levels (below fuel cut) a properly ported stock mani will do . Also its not about how much power before it cracks its about how limited the flow becomes through the small, short runners thats becomes an issue when hunting power figures.
  24. no probs , just dont slap on a FCd without fuelling mods and blow your engine lol
  25. The HKS does effect the whole range but with a RRFPR is allot easier to get reasonable fuelling as you simply up the rail pressure to compensate for the leaning out of fuel. I havnt used a Turbosmart FCD but its a clamp type FCD like Jam so will wait till it reads a certain voltage then hold it... The advantage with that is if you run a SAFC the fuelling is correct upto the point of clamping so all you have to do is adjust the fuelling from 0.8bar upto whatever boost you run (i.e. 1bar) they all have the same end result and you will never have a super smooth accurate map without a ecu but the
