had one of these bought me for my birthday. its a race 2wd buggy with the motor mounted at the back. anybody got one of these? just bought a castle creations 5700kv motor combo for it and its fucking insane. think i need a 4wd touring car to try to harness the power a bit more lol. anybody else got one of these things? proper good fun.

just be careful not to throw too much out before if/when you are guaranteed a job offer from the other place. if you do get that offer I wouldn't even bother asking your current boss anything just say your leaving. If he is as full of shit as you say he is then he will be fully aware of why you are not happy and have found employment elsewhere. and if he is fully aware of how good at your job you are then he will more than likely to offer you a better contract to stay where you are now. and if he doesn't you just leave lol i think thats a better approach than demanding stuff (even if its stuff you deserve). if the managers a bellend then he probably wont respond well to that approach. just my 2p

dunno man the 2012 onwards GTR is just a friggin animal i think it would take a serious serious civic to beat it, i.e a 9 second civic

i was sceptical but ive just had another look and if its the 550bhp GTR i honestly think it would pull on the starlet at any roll etc i got a feeling he did ease off it seemed like he was well up your bum then just fell away between gears which makes me think he eased off. hmmm

lol i want a GTR. if conditions were absolutely perfect for the starlet i.e dry, warm tyres, 2nd gear roll etc etc i would still back the 300+hp starlet up to around 120. saying that though i have driven a GTR once and its rapid. ah its just hard to say lol maybe the GTR would win anyways it is worth 15 times more lol who knows. get that dude to bring his GTR to a starlet meet just for the crack and have a few rolling starts against a few modified starlets just for the fun and see what happens. you can calculate power to weight, grip, aerodynamics, gear change time, etc etc its like when top gear raced the mclaren F1 road car vs the veyron richard hammond said its just no use point calculating it all you will just have to wait and see what happens.

this is one of those things thats worth it to the right buyer but it might take time to sell. i sold my running 3dr 99 one with 60k miles for 3200 and that had mint paintwork, meister coilies and WMS brakes, but that was for a VERY quick cash sale as i needed the dosh. in reality it was worth more like 4000+ all day purely for the rarity/potential. in my opinion they are worth this but having said that i think you would have much easier time selling if you put a stock GT engine in there got it running sweet on stock power and put it up for 4000 say. but good luck either way

ive seen a mini clubman at a show at santa pod with the running gear out of one of those 4wd daihatsu avenzato things lol. something like a 600cc engine but lots of mods and making summit like 180bhp with 4wd in a mini and it was insane - dude reckoned literally nothing would touch it round the streets. so ep85 running gear with say a td04 setup in a mini lol that would just be ridiculous haha
