My Tuning Developments Forged NIGHTMARE and The End of the GT
richglanzav replied to Starbuck's topic in Negative Feedback
can i just add that i have had an experience similar to Starbuck's. Mine was with the 'interesting character' (for lack of a more preferable term), that is Dave and Darren Burwash of ex-trader TM Developments. Shoddy workmanship, horrific customer service (being threatened over phone), and god knows what else. sometimes people don't want to put negative feedback on here as they just want to recoup as much as they can and just forget the whole experience ever happened. i think i lost 2 years off my life expectancy over it.- 96 replies

and very rich parents lol

just spoke to jerrick and apparently the new batch of 4wd coilies have been reworked to sit lower so they should be sound now. this was as low as my old one would go with the 4wd meisters back in 2012. im assured by jerrick that the new ones will allow the rears to sit the same as the fronts are in this pic.

http://www.ukstarletowners.com/topic/80934-96-glanza-v-white-varis-recaro-td04-rota-equipped/ http://www.ukstarletowners.com/topic/80938-ep95-toyota-starlet-reflet-x-4wd/ starlet bugs hit me hard just dunno whats best to go for. ep95 better in all weathers, but glanza is nicely modified and ok most of the time lol. i dont cover many miles at all either. but i regret getting rid of my old 4 paw and rly wanted to turbo it....hmmm dunno what to doo

matt im v.interested ile pm you when i get home in a bit

hey guys is it true that a GT engine and even a stock 5efe and 5efhe are all stronger than a glanza engine? dunno if ive dreamt it or something lol but im sure i read a thread somewhere that said the GT internals on the older 4efte are thicker and stronger that in the glanza as are the 5e internals. im after a starlet for a bit of a toy maybe on a td04 at 1 bar but wna leave engine stock if possible dont really wanna go through the whole money and process of forging again. so if im not imagining this, then a stock 5e or a 4e from a GT seems a good choice. so will someone in the kno

1st Track time @ Japfest.... worried........
richglanzav replied to SRchris's topic in Performance & Track Days
Some very good advice in here. Its just being aware where the other cars are around you really. In a nutshell, don't go out there thinking your the next Ayrton Senna and everything will be fine. Its a pretty weird feeling going on a proper track helmeted up etc in your own car. -
fuck man whered u find that?! awesome clean beast lol

Things To Look For When Buying Used Starlets
richglanzav replied to TeamBombersports's topic in Lifestyle General
yes i think/hope he meant that if he was gna buy a turbo starlet (which he would insure properly lol) then the insurance would shoot up. for the non-turbos, the 4efe engine is usually pretty bullet proof you just want to check the arches for rust and dunno bout the N/A's but on the turbo cars the CV joints tend to be a thing to check i find. so maybe if u have a test drive of one do a slow full lock turn in a car park in both directions. apart from that id say just have a good look underneath for signs of rust etc but gta be honest unless its a total dog the N/A starlets aint usually -
:0 lol

seriously tho all april fools jokes aside...wna sell it mate? lol
-
lol oh please do me a favour....u have a 275 bhp starlet fully declared for £290 at 19 with 2 years ncb pull my other leg haha please tell me who thats with cus im after a standard glanza and at their rates i shud get insured for about £29.99
-
well guys looks pretty likely as though i'm returning to the starlet world lol. going for a decent clean fairly standard one so probz with around 130bhp. if i buy plans will be to boost it up to about 180-190 and keep the reliability there as much as possible. anybody got some good opinions on parts and where to go for them? been a while since i bought anything for a 4efte... cheers.
