^^ sounds like the valve stem seals, they tend to start going around 80k on starlets. nothing really to worry about, just keep your eye on your oil level if your like booting it.

Best bet is to get someone who knows about car to check the engine over for you to assess the damage. If its something like the bottom end, ttake the gt off the road and buy yurself a shitbox (Diesel) runaround. Saveup & get it back on the road.

i got a clifford, they are very good and i have had i a while hasn't gone wrong once. to save money the best way is to install it yourself. you can pick up Clifford alarm pretty cheap. £100-150. you normally get charged in the region of 80-100 to get it fitted so you can save yourself a few bob. but i dont know how hard it is never done it myself. but im sure members on here will help you out. hope that helps

^^ petition wouldn't do nothing, they already got these types of cameras on the motorways in road works. so i reckon its too late. soon you will see insurance companies copying other American ideas like having a cameras in your car for insurance. this is why track days are becoming more popular .

^^ looking good mate, nice job with the rocker cover. i think it would look better if the lines and the Toyota writing were in green. not to say it looks bad at the moment, just a little touch that I think would make it look a little better.
