  1. Haha thats wicked that, some decent tyres and your sorted!
  2. he wants to do the rear calipers which need to be rewound in not pushed in
  3. bummer ^ I`d split the box mate, be alot quicker and you say the 4e box is shite anyway so might aswell split it and learn how its made up/works
  4. I saw a 10mm bolt on my n/a when i changed the clutch over, my old man undid it and tried to take out the speedo cable (didnt realise it had to be twisted out) he put a screwdriver underneath it and whacked it but the small plate area broke....bit hard to explain but in short it should come out but not without a fight Mine still works
  5. Im off to uni soon, after having made do with a random assortment of tools last year i was looking for a "all in one" to throw in the boot just in case i need it or need to help a friend out Ive seen this tool set on sale for £99 but didn`t have money at the time, its now on at £129 but if you click "bundle deal" it goes down to £107 not bad considering you get a set of screwdrivers too... Both come with a life time guarantee, cant go wrong really http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/...yId_165572#dtab
  6. Someone should make this a sticky or something gets asked soooooooooooooooo many times
  7. Aslong they have a dish and no valve cutouts they are dish of some sort if you get me?? The dish compensates for valve cut outs Standards pistons are flat tops with valve cutouts
  8. mine hasnt come loose yet and it gets given hell so it will be fine they have been fitted but as you have found there have been issues with the idle control valve and tps this is why i would go for the 7AFE throttle body if i was to upgrade to a 50mm bore throttle body they are a exact match i really wouldnt fit it to a glanza inlet and a glanza throttle body yes they give power but its at the top end the and sacrifices alot of low down torque from what i can see, both the 1st gen 4efe and 4efte have a higher rev limit to make use of this i have a glanza manifold and 45mm throttle body which i feel is the best of both worlds, decent top end without loosing too much bottom end
  9. k+n filters are designed and need to be "wet" for them to work at their best....its all fair and well cleaning it with petrol (as if it wasnt already expensive lol) but you'll need to re-oil it with the correct oil
  10. Get the filter cleaning kit for ~£10 off ebay go for the aerosol one not the bottle oil one, can easily get too much oil on with the bottle
  11. the throttle cable bracket will need to be moved over, remove the two 10mm bolts and move the throttle bracket so its only utilizing the one far bolt and the cable should fit (if your using the FTE manifold this is) ive had mine like this for ~1000miles and check it every so often to make sure its safe get someone to sit in the car to ensure theres no slack while you make sure the throttle body fully opens/closes
  12. the N/A should have 4 pipes at the bottom not 2 check again the pipe can be blocked off not sure about the sensor tho
  13. none interferance so the valve should be fine go speak to them if they wont help you out, do as rubix says
  14. seems like it cant be ignition related as you replaced everything..... i`d check for water down the plug holes check the earth of the ignitor pack check the ignition timing with a light replace the fuel filter if it still plays up get the injectors cleaned edit: what grade plugs are you using?
  15. You'd be hard pushed to get one bro....not many about more than likely needs to be custom made which shouldnt be that costly if you shop around you could have a solid 4-2-1 mani for little money
  16. For anyone who missed the film at the cinema like myself http://www.sainsburysentertainment.co.uk/e...iate_id=1546795
  17. where abouts you from? ive got loads of standard fit tyres if your interested?
  18. by blocking up i ment the throttle body and small valve which is left behind when hes removed it all
  19. lol back on topic.....any of the above people tried red stuff pads too? which are better?
  20. it should follow the driverside, under the rear seat and into the boot......have a look around the wire colours are yellow/black for one side and purple/white for the other iirc
  21. well aren't you a big boy, know any other colours?
  22. off topic but how do they compare with reds?
  23. Loop some rubber tubing over it and put a tie clip on
  24. be careful you dont ruin the threads on the top mount lol
  25. thats how i would fit it, also there is a point i made a diy one that leaked and didnt seal properly and it still caught oil over a period of time....it will keep you inlet tract clean and stop polluting the air/fuel mixture with oil and water vapour follow this http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/showthread.php?t=331989
