Fit gauges, Turn boost to 0.7 bar and adjust FPR + Buy a boost controller then when you have money..Buy an emanage ECU, Remap and run 1 bar
-
this happens alot... they look nicey nicey sold as working etc with a nice premium due to them being jdmzzzz but as you found out instead of just throwing them on...when u push them down they dont return/resist force (as all working shock absorbers do) so they are duff the rears are fine if they return

id say leave it for a good couple of hours/overnight...if its not dry and you put some boost thru it...it will leak -
Not really, a friend rang up a couple of days later and they didnt mind....^ Everyone will say "yeah ill pay for it" buy most times then not when hearing the price they back down and say go thru the insurance so get a price asap and ring her and then write a letter stating an initial deposit and the rest to be paid later which you both sign and keep....this way youve got money to start the repair and she cant just run off without paying the rest....or you can just ask for the full amount Check your boot floor too

Good news mate, could be the smaller rad but deffo keep a close on her for the next few miles....check all your piping/clips are tight...instant gasket would be fine mate aslong as it was applied and cured properly.... -

Yeah id assume the ecu was probably going crazy trying to get things right + the lambda was probably wrong, i have a N/A so cant help with the pics mate, as for the fan search for the aircon plug you need to bridge when AC is removed and make sure its bridged on your loom to start with Lol i'd have you boosting in no time if i was local -

N/a map sensor doesnt see boost so yeah you need to change that The fan issue may be due to the air conditioning not being present hence it runs the fan all the time, youll need to bypass this its been covered before -

Woah....right how long did it overheat for? Switch it off as soon as it happened? It could still be saveable refill it start it and put the heaters to red inside...cap off...fill accordingly and wait till the rad fan comes on...cap on Sort the lambda sensor out first, temp sensor doesnt matter tbh just to show when/if the cat overheats due to the turbo....wire it up and start the car let it idle with the heaters on cold (forces all the water to circulate in engine) to pressurise things a little more keep it at fast idle 2-3k and watch the water temp gauge if the fan kicks in/out like normal a -
Id say find the best mapper near you and see what hes good with, a standalone needs to be really worked on to get right (think of how long toyota would have spent perfecting the standard map) cold start tuning needs a couple of days in itself....

"kind of" rules out the headgasket....but it isnt using any water so?? just as a double check, the reason it didnt have oil in is when they ship/post engines shipping requirements state for the oil to be drained -
whats wrong with it mate? i have one waiting to be fitted....

The crystal you mention does raise the rev limit but screws with the afr iirc, also depending on your mods you probably wont need a higher rev limit...most 4efes on the forum only need to rev to 5-6k after than its pointless bar enzos gen 1

All metal expands when temperature increases, search about the forged engines which change tone/noise when warm typical of cheaper weisco/wossner pistons used in most builds....a piston is designed for long term use i cant see it making any difference if you do short or long journeys If it puts you off go for some JE pistons or CP theres another brand which i cant remember who do good pistons....im leaning towards ross too unless i can get a decent price on the other brands and i do 2000miles a month lol
