  1. Why arent you running 10/40 anyway? And you dont need fully syn, semi is fine. Contact Demon Tweaks, they will supply valvoline or millers 10/40 And TRD filters etc are jus more expensive for the name, standard filters do more than a good enough job.I actually bought a trd filter once, merely because i had some spare cash in my old paypal account and i blew it on one Buy a standard filter, even better buy 2 for the price of 1 trd.
  2. Ill try and make it if i can sort my wheel bearing out in time :] With more primered bits biggin it up for the primer lot brap brap foshiz Never been to nandos , how tasty is it on a scale of 1-10? Craig
  3. Mine squeels but i just claim its also got a supercharger fitted too... lolol One of the mechanics at my work, decided, hmm the belt squeels, lets spray some oil all over it..numpty.Had to replace the alternator 'because the whole thing was smotherd in oil As Rick said, chalk for a quick fix, just grind some up into powder and chuck over the belt and pulley..Or tighten it up, allthough its an ass to get to .Have fun
  4. I set mine with the vacum attatched, allthough even with it disconnected its exactly the same
  5. I dont have side repeaters because im ubez.. tbh couldnt be assed cutting a hole in the new wings so i pulled the bulbs out so the arch liners didnt flash amber and cable tied them outta the way. Soon let ya know if i get pulled or not, i thought the jdm lenses have them little bits that stick out so you can see them from the side? I only put the side repeaters on my old metal wings to pass the sva test... ? __pissed post__ Craig
  6. Im assuming youre on about boost gauge? sorry if thats a dumb question but im fubared from zee pub atm so excuse the dumb anser . Vacum on boost gauges depend on engine and differerent gauges bro, mine sits at -30. As long as its boosting fine, dont worry about it. Does the needle sit dead still? if it bobs around on idle, like vacum keeps rising then falling, its due to a faulty sensor. No idea which one at this moment in time but tomorrow i would be able to answer you propely
  7. Cheers darling Got my wings on now, fitted them saturday.Just need to hunt out an original jam spoiler and refit my skirts and sort my front bumper and splitter out then i can sort out a paintjob. Finally get the thing one colour...Looks way too chav atm with primered parts on there Allthough, looking chav's not too bad in medway, dont stand out too much lolz So come on Mikey, whens the next local meet? I enjoyed that alot more than the larger bluewater meets i have to admit.People were more social imo.
  8. I totally forgot about that meet, bit of luck i was meeting my paxo driving mate when you lot came and got some grub For the guys that went onto odeon afterwards, my mate with the vts is now buying a glanza that 10second drive of mine made him miss his old GT me thinks Met some decent lads there, which id never met before so 'twas good.
  9. EP82 braces are slightly different bolt hole layout to the ep91 brace bud. Thats an 82 brace im sure, im 99% sure the ep82 braces have that starlet plastic bit on them. The ep91 braces dont, there just plain metal bars with no plastic starlet cover bit. Sure other people with ep91 rear 3points would verify. You can just drill the holes out slightly for the strut mount, and get a plate made to bolt into.Either paint the plate or get it polished or chromed
  10. Turbo Dynamics built ct9 hybrid. good for 1.2bar and over 200hp easy. Mine comes on full boost by 2500 which is what i prefer over a laggy larger turbo. If i was doing lots of drag runs, id opt for either a td04/5 or gt turbo. But i prefer trackdays so my hybrid is spot on for that. If you want a responsive starlet, then a hybrid is the way forward. It wont push youre head back in the seat obviously but it'll deliver all the goods in little time It all depends on what you want the car for at the end of the day.Theres no point chasing for big power in a starlet if youre not going to be turni
  11. Be better off making youre own plate bud.
  12. Some truly savage looking photos there bro :] Loving the clips and raised bonnet..That'll certainly help get rid of some unwanted heat from the bay ;) Oh and by the way dude, i see what you meant about the prep work involved in the wings Still, they look amazing on these i think. Keep up the good work dude! Craig.
  13. Im pretty sure he meant on a freeflowing ct9 style manifold. You'd definately want to grind the restriction out of the stock manifold if youre thinking about using that with a td. Youd want to get rid of the restriction even if you was running the standard ct9 at anyboost higher than standard bud. Easiest way would be to weld a flange onto the ct9, and would work out the cheapest route.
  14. What oil are you running out of curiousity ?
  15. ;) One of them, crap ya pants, moments? Yeah, if youre earthing to the body, allways scrape a bit of the paint off from under the earthing point.Just so it makes a nice clean contact
  16. There every where now.. I flogged my saxo because it was so common.. Now you see 10x more gt's and v's than vt's Just one of them things, few people buy them.. Then there freinds like the look/feel of them..So they buy one.. Then there sisters buy one..Then there brothers..then mum and dad..then aunt and uncle then even the damn dog
  17. Fronts ... -1.5 camber 0.2toe out 0 caster And the rear is all neutral.i prefer it that way, id rather the front dig in and the back just skip round and follow Craig
  18. Did it have a red cloth interior Jag?
  19. Have you got the cd full of the disc iso formats? If so, you have to first burn all the images to cd, then go to the setup and install all the jap import discs by keep swapping cd's. Its pretty simple once you get youre head around having to install one disc, then the next.. then the next.. etc Install them all in one go.. So add all the disc titles to the list.. then hit execute.
  20. Woooot ill be there in my haggard looking, primerd up V..lookin gangsta Make it chatham dockside, in the odeon carpark 'because its hooge and well lit..And you never get any gypos in there acting the nonce Ill drag my cousin in his V too sooo.. That'll be me and Aaron Craig.
  21. WD40 evaporates pretty quick dude.Plus its more of a releasing spray.. Anytype of spray thats silicone based is the way to go. Saying that, i need to cake my coilys in it, theyve started making a damn annoying squeek over bumps Gonna give em a bath in it weekend
  22. If you remove the cowling from around the steering wheel..That panel around the dash kinda thing... You should be able to trace the loom to the ignition barrel and have enough wire to play with for splicing into. Use a 6v/12v multi-tester to check for power with ignition on/off
  23. NEVER use female to female type crimp connectors on anything. Even better, never use any of them type of connectors. There shite. The wires will pull out, and even if they dont pull out, you will lose sound quality through the connection. Same can be said for any type of wire.. earths, and live wires can pull out and you dont want that happening behind the dash do you Allways do a proper job with wiring, solder and heatshrink it. Otherwise youll end up with a nasty bunch of connectors that you cant fit in spaces, look awfull and run the risk of dodgy connections.
  24. Lots of high power owners prefer to use a dawes type valve over any type of electronic version.Lots of people swear by them. The TurboSmart items are excellent quality.Be wary of ebay and the like, because alot of sellers are listing there shitters as dawes type, people buy them then complain about leaks and spikes etc.
