Ok So RaceDash2 wasnt designed to fit a Glanza....
It does JUST fit into the surround though, so I needed to get in mounted in some way...
The back of the clock surround is not a flat surface, which is a pain. So i made it flat first...
Then using Autocad, drew up the mounting dimensions of the racedash and mounting points.
Because I dont know what other displays/gauges will be in there yet and because I need to draw the outer size/design/shape on autocad. Its been laser cut out of 4mm mdf. For the time being...
The end result was:
So I cut it down/finished it off by hand
(I can then scan this in and draw that in cad and get it made in carbon/plastic/metal anything I want)
It will get the car usable at least
Doesn't look straight there, the dash is straight and perfectly centered. The bottom of the trim is different on each bottom corner. Strange!
