Head Stripped Down 1 Valve & Valve Seat Replaced All Valves Cleaned & Inspected Head Skimmed & Pressure Tested Brand New Athena 1.2mm MLS Headgasket Brand New ARP Headbolts Brand New Custom Spec Garrett GTX Billet Wheel Turbocharger All Built up and Mapped up! All thanks to a fucking spark plug! Well, the cars back! At Last! Collected it yesterday afternoon! After a good clean... I asked Ricky to take it to the same boost pressure as before as I just wanted the poor thing back to enjoy for summer... I also said if he can get any of the torque back that I lost on the previous map/turbo that would be great... He took the boost up to 2.2bar and brought it in much harder mid range... The Results Are: 426.0bhp/314.5lbft @ 2.2bar Which caused me to very nearly fall off of the chair I was sat on if I'm honest... Amazing what a small increase in compressor wheel can do! Still spools wicked fast too! Injectors were getting close to maxing again. But there is more in it believe it or not, but Myself & Ricky had a chat and chose not to push it anymore. Ricky also said on some earlier pulls he had seen it over 350lbft too, but tamed the boost down mid range to save the poor gearbox and keep it nice and progressive and less like a lightswitch! So, I have the car back, it is a chuffing handful and wicked fast. Big Smiles that were needed big time after the last 2 weeks I've had! I'll let Azz, Chand, Nick at TD and Any Others chasing big numbers on here try some unknown territory of 4E-FTE performance for a change now, I'm sick of not having my car! Going to enjoy it for summer! Plans now are to rebuild the interior, a lot of the plastics need refitting and the carpet needs to go back in. It needs a chuffing good clean all over too, but I'm working today! Ill get some fresh snaps when its detailed and some videos over the weekend if I can! Cheers for the kind posts folks!

  6. You can use an e-Manage Blue with an NA ECU and remap the car... Gains Will be small tho! Save your money, go turbo...

    I got 20 questions over PM for mine too.. Offered a silly low amount, he came up and up and up then we agreed on a price and he said he would be in touch. Then few days later came in with another really low offer after agreeing on a price... lol Na Mate... Sold Now Anyway to someone who stuck to there word
  16. New Headlights are in... Looks much better! Old ones were FUCKED and one was broken so! Fresh Mint! Then got the D2 Coilovers Removed, as one was leaking and banging/rattling... So sits really high now! Ill probably bring it back down on some springs tbh to keep some ride quality, as its a daily commute! and finally, Flatblades... Cheers Bosch! Coming together now!
  17. There not comparable to a Glanza/Starlet imo... But a lot more comfortable for a daily! Well. Gave the car a full service. Engine Oil, Oil Filter, Spark Plugs & Gearbox Oil Gearbox Oil Really Needed Doing! Then got on with some of the cars other issues... The shifter was really stiff in all directions... Removed the assembly and stripped it all down: De-Greased and Cleaned all the parts. Then re-fitted... Unfortunately its still too stiff left and right for a daily car. Its brutally short and stiff. However up and down was a lot better! May try find a better one or a stock shifter! Popped to see a lad called Sam, after 1000 people telling me he is the man to talk too.... Got the missing footrest... Got a rear wiper arm (mine was cracked) and a 12v socket! Then my order from carparts4less arrived... 2 HUGE boxes. Seriously, I could fit in one, and that's saying something... Bit Excessive considering I ordered 2 brand new headlights... Yep that's right, 1 headlight in each box... Im pleased to announce they made it here in 1 piece. Very Luckily More Tidying Up To Come!

  19. She's running and back on the dyno... Its been mapped up to 1.4bar now, its made a touch more power then it did before at that pressure... So it may make even more at 2.0bar+ too? Have to wait and see! Either way I just want it back and I really don't care anymore lol

  23. My car wasn't built to break a record. Was built to be driveable. Just so happens it held records along the way. It made any more power yet azz? Looking forward to seeing what it makes bud!
