The rattle can be sorted by wrapping the hinge mechanism hook in some fabric to tighten it up there, that's what I've done. On newer/posher cars they don't have a bare metal hinge catch as it does rattle.

Can't remember off the top of my head, I'm only running the ct9 but with an external wastegate so yours would likely be different. It's just trial and error to set it up like all ebc's, just find a nice straight quiet bit of road to have a fiddle! (Best done in 4th gear too as that is when the boost stabilises most - if you set it up in lower gears it will likely creep in the higher gears.)

My car insurance went DOWN about 900 quid today!
WallaceGlanza replied to Mat-Richmond's topic in Off Topic
You must be in a dodgy area or something! Mine has been £450 for the last couple of years and I'm 26 now, again all mods declared. I just keep jumping back and forward between adrian flux and sky insurance, nowhere else comes close or can insure it with all the mods. -
I think you need an additional harness to set up the rev specific boost or maybe it's for the speed? I've got one with the extra harness but never set up the speed/rev specific boost. The speed reading isn't too accurate either - it jumps about, wildly! My top speed recorded is something like 32,564kmh! The rev counter is ok though, as Shorty said there is a pin out diagran somewhere if you search. The easy option is the optional trigger switch thing: It's much easier to setup.

Take it you mean DS2500 Joz? If so yes, they're meant to be shit hot, not tried tem personally but will be when I finally get another wilwood setup.

Don't fit one unless you really need it, ie oil temps above 120c. I have one with a thermostatic sandwich plate and it overcools the oil in normal driving.

Paying 1300 quid at your age last year was ridiculous!!! Shouldv'e shopped about. -
-1 to - 1.5 will give nice handling but not be too harsh on the tires.

On normal suspension the bottom is the only point where the camber can be adjusted so that's what any garage will adjust first including when doing coilovers, if they can't achieve the camber you want then they will adjust the topmounts.

Get a full laser alignment done, if they're nice when they have it up on the ramps they may have a quick check of the bushs at the time. Tbf though these cars are not great at higher speeds on the standard suspension - I remember mine being very dodgy when completely stock.

Awesome! Well jealous of Mr Metcalfe too - the guy presenting, he's got a fleet of nice cars - including his own zonda!

The piston may be a bit sticky and not retracting fully. Did you inspect it when you changed them and was it hard to push back in? Always a good idea to grease things too, to make sure it's all operating smoothly...

No probs, I'll just carry on playing football with this one then!

Pros and Cons of Removing ABS from a high powered starlet?

It's not all about the number of pots/cylinders! -
Are you still looking for one Steve?

Huh? A good setup and hybrid should see 230bhp

There's not a definite answer whether it will creep and hit fuel cut or not, but doing breathing and exhaust mods will increase the response of the turbo and with the internal wastegate being so small it is likely it will creep but to what extent you can't be sure. Mine used to creep upto 1 bar plus easily and in the cold it was even worse with relocated filter, fmic, decat and full exhaust. As you say try it and see what happens.

Google? Pirtek will do them as do speedflow.

Black Glanza in Dundee last night (21/4/12)
WallaceGlanza replied to Ryan-11's topic in I Spy, Have You Been Spotted?
Nope, but I've seen it a couple of time (if it's the same one - white rota grids?). Once in forfar and once kirrie at the garage where I get mine mot'd - I may not be the only glanza in the village anymore! -

powerflex engine mount bushes
WallaceGlanza replied to starletburkie's topic in Chassis & Suspension
They make a big difference, better power delivery, makes the gear changes smoother and even changed my exhaust note. Just makes everything feel a bit tighter.
