The best cheap'ish track wheels...???
WallaceGlanza replied to ashbuxton's topic in Alignment & Alloys
I've only ever seen them in 14", so not great if you don't have stock brakes! -
Very nice! (Except the wheels as said above!)

I randomly ended up on this micra site and found the banner photo quite amusing.... pretty sure that's not a pair of micra's in the middle or is it?!?! http://www.micra.org.uk/

The best cheap'ish track wheels...???

The lighter the better! Try and find a set of these.... http://www.nengun.com/bridgestone/set-of-four-14-inch-super-rap-133201 -
For the door open yes.

Any pcv valve will work, I welded a fitting to the cam cover and used an inline pcv valve for a daewoo. Something like this would do: http://www.ebay.co.u...=item519d683d66 As you say it is much cheaper than a 30 quid one from toyota!
-
Yup probably the best bet, you can probably just pull the cable from there to unlatch the bonnet too then put the plastic bit back in after.
-
I use an adjustable one with a metal strip - like this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Britool-E117117B-Oil-Filter-Adjustable-Wrench-60-110mm-/360404219642?pt=UK_Hand_Tools_Equipment&hash=item53e9c3f6fas My turbo inlet is very tight against the filter but that still fits.
-
I had this problem before, the cable sits in a bracket with a small plastic bit and can come out. You should be able to get at it through the grill it's fiddly but just try.
-
Yes. They're a seperated decat so wastegate and turbone side exhausts are seperated and they're made from pretty thick mild steel. The road runner stock replacement exhaust manifolds were among the best too.
-
No but it will be on yours as you don't have a pcv or one way valve inline before the tank. It's not really a problem as 1 bar ish isn't going to blow it up! Oherwise it's setup ok.
-
Ok no problem, thought that may be the case. Cheers.

Sorry to see this Geo, don't stay a stranger - this is your home afterall! ;)

Ryan-11's 342 whp, banzai mag featured glanza!

Looks great mate, very clean front end now. Will need to see how the new setup performs when you're at crail with it. -
external wastegate users - trying to decide on a colour
WallaceGlanza replied to mattyD's topic in Intake, Turbo & Exhaust
Big decision here. Depends where it is though if you're that fussy - you can't see mine normally: -
I think that bit only made sense in my head, everyone asks me about that!
-
Iddy, I need the smallest bit ever- the little plastic clip/spade connector and a bit of wire that goes onto the stock oil pressure switch, would you willing to sell that seperate from the loom?
-
Better tyres and good throttle control, but at this time of the year there is no grip on the roads anyway. I've been runnning 1 bar for 4 years maybe so yeah it's fine -aslong as it's setup properly.
-
As said in Asad's link did you set the jumpers?
-
Tbh when up at that power I would go for more than just discs and pads so you can properly make use of the power - otherwise the straights are too short, on proper roads at least. ;)
-
Indeed, it would be too easy if they just worked all the time. Keep the faith Si!
-
Gutted but very easily done. The roads are really slippy at the moment with all the salt and shit on them - never mind diesel! Hope you get it sorted ok.

Project- Super, Mega, Awesome Low!...
WallaceGlanza replied to Glanza_cl's topic in Other Motors Progress Blogs
Got to agree here, the wheels you have suit it perfectly. Don't put them cream things on! Also don't fit that FAKE type s either, guaranteed that's a dodgy lithuania ebay one. -
Definately get rid of the D2's and stick on a set of Meister's. The rest of your list is fine, although you may not need the front arb as it does make the front end a little twitchy I find - I have everything on your list suspension wise and mine does handle very nicely, I also drive some good but not smooth b roads most of the time. Also there is no way you can set up the coilovers yourself unless you have the alignment equipment, go for a little bit of negative camber (I run 1.2 but gonna bring it down to 1deg as it likes to tramline and follow the camber of the roads a lot) maximum castor
