Got bored and decided to shoot some pics.

Very nice, jealous of the kakimoto! Also get the rear fog wired into the main cluster (dual filament bulb) so you can lose the ugly one hanging down. -
Actually you're right enough, is the "stump" as Asad put it making contact with the bit which has the wear mark on it, if not then the cube is missing! I didn't look at it properly earlier and it doesn't look like it's making contact.
-
Depends on the spacing of the tabs which you can't really tell from that photo! the cube will definately work though.

Toyota changed the design on later models. If your gearbox is crunching it will be the synchros that're worn - very common.

Brilliant!

I'm getting old!... I remember when they were 90 giblets.

Baa baa black sheep..... Also dibs on the blonde.

98 by far, about £110, you'll need new brackets too (and fogs and grill) as they differ from 96/96 to 98/99.

I'm going to make up my own oil feed and coolant lines eventually but as above the costs do add up (if you get good fittings). Speedflow has all the fittings you'll ever need at a resonable cost: www.speedflowshop.co.uk

You will need to gut the pcv yes and move it so it is inline before the catch can. The ideal setup imo is using two sealed catch cans, one as above in between inlet mani and the breather with the pcv (with pcv moved to inbetween catch can and inlet mani). The other can goes between the other breather and the turbo inlet with no valves as this one is meant to be permanantly breathing/open as in the standard setup. This setup can be done with one three port catch can and a system of valves: http://i819.photobuc...UKSC/catch2.png Credit again to enzo_e492901 I say this setup is the best as i

Depends how you're setting up the catch can - have a search on here for the best setup, there's a lot of topics on it!

Ah ok, I'm sure you'll enjoy watching my bad launches and even worse gear changes! I'll come over for a chat at some point. The mot runs out on the glanza on Monday so it'll be straight into the garage for some work then! -

Cheers guys, it makes a nice change in driving style to the glanza, nowehere near as confident with it though but it does make me realise how good the glanza handles! Need to man up and start getting the ase end out on the beemer though! Yeah I love the noise it makes - almost like a petrol V8! Ha sorry to worry you, the bonnet ain't going nowehere don't worry! :harhar: Cheers mate. Can't wait to give it a proper run on the 1/4 mile at crail this weekend, fingers crossed all goes ok! -
If I can't get v power for crail on sunday I'll be mighty pissed off! - the light's already on too.

This has been covered quite a bit so try doing a search... However most ebay one's will need a bit of the powersteering bracket ground back to fit properly, like so.... The more expensive one's from greddy and sard some say are a direct fit. Thread you need is 3/4" UNF.

Check it at the inlet manifold and lube it up there too if it's sticky at that point.
-
Check to see if you get a puff of blue smoke on start up after the car has sat overnight - that would tend to be the valve stem seals, mine does this and uses a little oil ie 1 litre over 3000miles (between changes).

Haha nah, I'm a lifer! I want one that sounds like this Id: But I also like the look of the blueflame one's, not getting it anytime soon but will have a think about it! -
My glanza has had it difficult the last few months having to do a 90 mile commute every day in the winter weather and generally being a bit neglected. It's not a great car to be doing that in every day and it hasn't been appreciating it either - the hand brake cable has snapped, intercooler hose keeps popping off and with the winter tires fitted the handling was frankly dangerous at times! So a replacement was required, something that will be happier doing the commute itself, more comfortable for me and still a bit interesting to drive. Something that scratched the rwd itch would also

If you want helpful answers stop being so vague..... As above, these cars don't oversteer unless something is amiss - most likely the rear tires. Mine is oversteering like a mofo just now as I've swapped the winter tires onto rear only (the understeer and lack of traction was getting boring) - very interesting handling in the wet! The main thing to improve the handling is good tires after that a rear anti roll bar makes a huge difference with them.

Why the fk are my front wheels rubbing :(
WallaceGlanza replied to MARC MOSS's topic in Alignment & Alloys
If the tires don't scrub the arches you're not going fast enough round the corners! -
Oh man, didn't want to see this as the first thing when the site starts working! I can undersatnd the reasoning but as above can't you keep it on the side and have something for a runaround, think of the amount of money you'll lose and not to mention the time and effort you've put in which can't be quantified!
