  1. Did forte flush and treatment last autumn, should be fine. And forged....give me the money and I'll do it.
  2. Revving the engine affects to the frequency of the ICV too?
  3. Well if it's sortable I'd like to know, thanks! But while the sound is normal I'm not in a rush.
  4. Oh rite I see. It's blowing from exactly same spot. Might try two gaskets and exhaus seal paste if I can't get it sorted other way...thanks! Might be interested in your mani actually, was it any good? I think I might try some different oil next time is it would calm the ticking down. What oil you're using, akyakapotter?
  5. Oh right! Have also just ran a full tank of 98 octane with STP fuel system cleaner, if that counts...Now it''s only fuel.
  6. Akyakapotter, I couldn't even use the original nut as this was just pure utter shite. Had to blow torch it and hammer a big fat dent to get it even on them threads. Also the gap is so small between rad and decat. I had to cut a spanner half to be able to tighten it even this much as it is. Morgey: yeah I believe it's not the decat as the sound was there from start before putting the decat in. Just got a bit paranoid when rolling on 4th with no throttle and hearing the distant trrrrr noise. Thanks for the input anyway, didn't know blowing can make that kind of sound too! We lear
  7. Ye might try grinding after mot as i need to put my cat back on to pass it. Meow. Mot is in a month and it's not blowing that bad.
  8. Racecar yoo lol. How's the shifter customized by the way? I have custom one also, we made it adjustable. Any pics of yours?
  9. Morgey: I suppose it's not blowing from there. My decat is blowing from against the turbo but that side it doesn't matter much? The Jperformance decat is a bit shit as it's almost impossible to get one of the bolts on as it's too close to the pipe...so it blows. Ticking has always been there just noticed it when boosting a bit harder and letting the throttle off. Had only heard it while idling. Is tha 5W-40 synthetic oil ok?
  10. Cheers mate. I thought so too but getting a bit paranoid while driving the first few hundred km with the boost upped to 1.1 bar and running only with ported oem mani. Really don't wanna blow anything up. AFR's look good otherwise but at higher speeds and on full boost the afr goes all the way to 10, so it's quite rich then. EGT and/or oil temp gauge might give some more peace of mind?
  11. Just to be sure, this ticking sound is normal, right? I heard it's the lifters ticking and I remember it doing it always but doesn't do harm to ask. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/253693/glanza_stuff/ticking.mov Should it go away after driving some time? I think I can hear it inside when accelerating and letting the throttle completelly off (AEM afr doesn't give any reading at that point naturally, as the engine is braking and it's not feeding any fuel). It's the same ticking, just a lot denser, like trrrrrrrrrr. I'm using Valvoline 5W-40 oil and it's fresh.
  12. Quite racey interior you have! I want a deep dish steering wheel too, but just can't remove the airbag as it's illegal here!
  13. Oh shit mate, that's an interesting temporary solution! Good to hear you can drive it now at least.
  14. Noticed that I haven't done a full spec list, so here it is. I'm pretty sure it's all there. 15. Nice! Been waiting for updates!
  16. I'm coming from Finland with my glanza to gatebil main event this year! A little starlet meet maybe?
  17. You should get it from europe or you'll have to pay toll and taxes mate.
  18. Got mine from here: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300378623904 Delivery in 26h to my work and the gauge is great! No calibration needed.
  19. Otherwise awesome but...lower it man! I'd like a sound compare between nur spec and fujitsubo. First I wanted nur spec but it wasn't available at that time so had to take fujitsubo. Now I'm really happy with it and wouldn't change it anymore, but am interested to hear what the blitz sound like.
  20. Good to hear you got it on but I guess it'll be more like 1.1 bar now. :/ Propably someone has shortened it?
  21. I have a JAM one and after putting it in the car barely idled, but after letting it idle a while it went better and better. I wouldn't recommend FCD in any case if you have a chance to get a plug&play ecu. Runs very nice on my car and feels very much faster than before (with supporting mods of course)!
  22. Mine came out at angle too, it's normal I guess as mine works perfectly. Actually had to have a friend helping on getting it on, that's how tight it is! The arm has a little play, I think twisting the arm could do more harm than pulling. Just screw the actuator on and pull the rod in to it's place. It's really stiff I tell ya! Anyone else had similar experience?
  23. I had to pull quite hard with pliers to get it on. It has to be tight to keep the wastegate shut long enough.
