  1. Hi buddy! Yeah I really hope it will surprice me in a positive way. The car has been awesome, everything works like a charm. I've been enjoying the JAM ecu you sold me but now I've been thinking of changing to megasquirt. I know that I could get some more power quite easily with mappable ecu and a friend of mine knows a fair bit of MS. He even offered to assemble and map it for me so it really is tempting! Trying to get this tubby hooked up tonight or tomorrow. I'll update here the first impressions!
  2. About time for you to get those skirts mate! Looking goood.
  3. Oh man black suits your wheels so good! Good job mate, love to see this progressing. ;) Gonna have something happening to my white one soon too, nothing this massive though. Keep on good job!
  4. Could you make a deal of the stock ecu & end caps and shipping to finland? PM me your best price!
  5. Nice one! I love your wheels so much, wanted to get those at some point for my glanza too. I have 16x7.5 et35 and it doesn't rub at all. Haven't rolled the arches and it's lowered on coilovers. Good work, you have good taste!
  6. Cheers buddy, nice to hear you liked it. Soon I'll be forced to put the glanza aside for winter. A bit sad but some new things coming up then. And it's not that bad as I have the other starlet.
  7. OMFG that is so lush! Want one with rocket bunny kit too. Instant boner.
  8. I'm also interested in that strut brace if it doesn't sell for some reason!
  9. Really nice base to start! My glanza was in bare stock condition too when I first got it, not even aftermarket exhaust or filter. Good luck with this, It'll be interesting to see where this goes.
  10. Thanks! I too think that 16's fill the arches just perfectly. 195/40/16 bit stretched feels ok to me, but can't really compare as I've never driven fast on for example 195/50/15. They feel quite hard of course, but with decent suspension it's not that bad. These Falkens seem to be quite hard compound as this set has lasted me 3 summers already and propably will go even fourth, just have to swap the rears to front. They seem to be very slippery when wet too. Although the hard suspension, low profile of the tyres and the slight stretch might affect that also. I've still been very ha
  11. I might be interested in the engine loom only, if you sell it separately. PM me if it would me ok?
  12. There are a few pics in my thread on page 4 but here's two more. Couldn't fit better!
  13. I've got this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TOYOTA-STARLET-EP82-EP91-INTERCOOLER-KIT-/121114457615?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item1c32fbf60f It's not as big as the HDI rep but I think it's big enough, and it has the short route piping! Fitting was quite easy too. Didn't have to cut the bumper much and was able to still keep my AC.
  14. Yeah, it's quite mild in sound compared to my fujitsubo power getter which is not crazy loud either, but is still louder. I have a decat and ported stock mani too. Here's a video of my power getter in action. >http://vimeo.com/67005187
  15. Lol you're welcome! Let's gentleman and red wine all over the place.
  16. Yeah, the NA rode so well, just had to get it! Already have some lowering springs coming for it, so maybe I'll have to set up a build thread later. R5 was found from the back yard of our garage. The owner was a renault enthusiast who didn't have time for the car anymore and thus the car had sat out for three years and inside a few years before that. It still ran when given gas and battery, so no major problems! Car was imported to Finland from California in the 90´s i guess, I think there are only 2 of these LeCars in Finland. It's a standard 1.4 carb, but it has the original 13" Alpine T
  17. Actually I had a thought about that, but didn't even google if it can be done or not. I'll have a look, thanks mate.
