ok new part arrived today, im gonna fit it tommorow. it looks so good i dont want to put it in the car but needs must.......... orc309, ds version (no rattle) with lightened flywheel. finally im gonna be able to try my turbo out at full boost. im pretty certain this will hold the power!

thanks, maybe its something for me to consider after the clutch and exhaust is sorted what do you make of the hdi ones? would you bother or just pay the extra for blitz ect?

just a bit of help really, basically my only form of boost control is the hks actuator. what are my benifits if i was to be using an ebc? do i really need one to get a good tune and make good power? what differences will i see with an ebc?

well i say exact same............... i had a replica filter, but lets be honest a filters a filter at the end of the day. and 99% of the time you pay for a brand name. and i didnt have the t peice there but i had a hole and bung in the pipeing to take the sensor so in essence it was there. it felt good compared to standard, reved much more freely. the big difference i noticed is the consistancy, i had an open filter on there before like most people do and on warm days the performance was terrible, with the enclosed filter with the direct feed the performance didnt suffer as much when the temp was high.

yeah that will work well. i had the exact same thing when i was n/a. no need to move the rad really. there is a hole that some pipeing can fit through next to the rad, its not a massive hole but with the diamiter pipe it will go through. here is a pic

what stuff? not sure how you mean. i brought all my parts off dave burwash as i found him the cheapest. the braided lines are made by him too and my 3g disks are 20 groove. the mintex pads are 1144 i think

on the front yes. on the back theres not much point other than for looks really. i run 3g 20 grooves, mintex pads, braided lines on the front and rear and also a cusco bmcs. its not a bad set up for the money mate.

yeah well to put this in too perspective................ for a fully rebuilt and remanfactured ct9 your looking at near £450 and thats with an exchange unit as well. thats a stock ct9 without all the work involved with making the hybrid. so at that price for the hybrid its a steal.

thanks but that should matter as ive still got the pipe work in there so the plugs are still plugged into them. my car doesnt seem to be overheating at all and the temp is in the same place it always is so im not gonna worry about it. maybe it is coming on but just takes a very long time to kick in.

do you want to keep hi and low boost? if not, just run the pipe off the actuator straight to the turbo.

air con was removed today and i made my own relocation kit which im very happy with.

right removed my air con today. and now it seems my rad fan is not kicking in at all, is there something i need to do? i know that sometimes the fan can run constantly when aircon is removed but mine is just not coming on. ive not fully removed the air con. just bypassed the pump with the shorter belt and removed the rad. i unplugged the loom that connected to the canister thing on the right hand side and ive just left that unplugged. any ideas?

no liam brought the car with his own money. its just there is no point in him turning it into a stripped out track slag when he cant even drive it yet. plus if he rips the seats out who is gonna pick me up from the pub!?

its not a tweeter mate, is just a plasic cap to cover where the wipers was. it has electric windows.
