  1. there will always be a little oil in the intercooler pipe work. If your turbo seals are worn then it dont usually loose much oil really. Is the turbo noisy? Good chance it could be what is mentioned above
  2. check the pcv valve and engine breather buddy. Its a possibitily
  3. i would say send it to us but i would have to charge a min of around £260 to put right. That would be full recon. I know thats no help as its cheaper to source a good second hand one
  4. i think the person who plumbed it in got the in and out port the wrong way around. The way blitz tell you to plumb it on the instructions cause the wastegate to be pulled open on idle.
  5. thats the shaft not a compressor wheel mate. I wouldnt fit it mate, hard to tell from pic but seems like there has been exess play. Also it has had impact damage or overspeed. That will whisle its tits off and not last 5 minutes.
  6. the comp wheel and shaft are slightly smaller but wouldn't be too much of a power loss. To fit you will need to mod the intercooler pipe but other than that it will fit the same, may have to mod a bracket to mount a hks actuator too it as the stock actuator on the non starlet ct9s have very weak diagrams. There are a few ct9s but none of which are as good as a ct9b from the glanza. Size wise all the others are smaller.
  7. the mani was an absoulute joke, problems below..... 1)faces were not straight, mani to head flange was like a pissing banana 2) wastegate pipe ran too close to turbo to cat flange. imposible to get any cat on there. not even close 3) turbo ends up sitting further to the right causing the water lines to not fit 4) oil feed ended up not lining up due to came reason as above 5) tmic pipe wouldnt fit 6) wastegate pipe made it impossibe to fit rad and fan and the best til last, after modding and buying new parts and getting this peice of shite to fit................. 7) its leaking from the
  8. come see ya dad. i can fix and fit all. just bring the selotape and cable ties...............
  9. is it a hks actuator? is so then shorten the arm. if its a stock actuator then you could space it out by putting some washes between the compressor cover and the bracket to provide more pre load. but would be better to buy hks
  10. just a bit of a tip for night time shooting, if your cam lets you and you have a tripod. turn your ISO to the lowest you can get, turn off the flash and use a long shutter speed. will allow for much clearer shots. if your not a camara geek then just ignor me
  11. you need to see the doctor about your mood swings. i love it, i hate it, i have a fanny..........sort it out seriously stop looking at it and drive the fucking thing, its gonna be a slow process, just stop moaning and get on with it. sort it out. and ignore the clear lens brigade too. i didnt get piss wet through fitting that bonnet for you to moan!
  12. ok i will pop mine around tommorow if your all up for sticking them all on mine!? there is a few parts i would like of Liam but i would rather him sell them elsewhere as im a tight bastard and would not pay full price for them! lol
  13. it wasnt the mrs that i saw rubbing heat rub on him when i went around earlier........it was our dad! bit of man on man massage action. i still think of this as being my car, so seeing it like this is really gutting to be honest but the important thing is Liam is ok and i guess its a reminder that you can never be too careful. the car is in a pretty bad way but all the parts worth a bit of £££ are still in perfect condition so im sure that if they sell it will easily cover a replacement motor or easily be transfered to a new n/a.
  14. check your engine breathers/PCV valve mate. do you have catch tank fitted?
  15. do you have a picture of the sard turbine housing where it meets the down pipe?
  16. awsome, i was gonna buy this kit too but you beat me too it in the end. great bit of kit and cracking motor. did you get the gasket sorted. we may have one knocking around
  17. i have a brand new rebuilt ct9b just sitting waiting for him when he decides to go turbo!
  18. it wont be the turbo, ive never seen the water chamber in the turbo crack allowing oil into the water. i highly doubt its this. if you really still think this could be the issue then run the turbo with no water lines. im 99.9% it wont be your problem
  19. was a really good day. thanks to all who arranged and attended. i was very happy with my result. was not gonna run it due to my wastegate problems and running stock turbo but thought what the hell. the 192bhp i got was on a stock ct9 at @1 bar dropping to 0.8 bar and NOT my hybrid. amazed at some of the ct9 figures.
  20. Liam has driven mine when it was on the new hybrid at only 0.7 bar and dropping boost and its safe to say he would have quite easily done him self damage. if i ever get it running right at 1.1 bar i est it will be around 220bhp. for your first quick car i think thats a little extreme! i would hope that if he does buy it he will forge it and then i can build some crazy experimental turbos for him
  21. indeed we do. Liam wants to buy my glanza off me at some stage and as a responsible older EP veteran and liam being a power hungry noob, i feel it is only right i put it back to the stock 135bhp, and throw all the performance parts in the bin. this is ok liam yes? ive already got the stock turbo back on for you
  22. from experience you should order a new rubber grommit for it. they tend to harden up over time and break on removal. by all means reuse pcv but to stop you having an oh fuck moment pre order the grommit
  23. yeah it would be nice to see but in a few months time any many many miles later. i should be attending and if i can get mine running right before the day then i will steal liams place. if your gonna see anything blow up on the RR it may as well be mine instead of liams
  24. hopefully liam will be following his olders advise and giving the rollers a miss. too much to risk for very little point, if anything goes wrong due to the fact that you want a RR printout that says 2bhp more than your old one. any point?
