there u have it, ECU should work. Rob's been on the scene for ever and a day, knows his technical shit, so sounds promising! get the fuse out, or battery, and let it reset, then take her on some runs. and remember that it will take a few days for it to settle. Jay has a Mine's and a SARD ECU, took the SARD (i think) like a month to learn my K1, nearly killed him more than once, so be aware that it can take a while for the ECU to populate its tables and settle itself. it doesnt always work like a rocket straight from the box man. Phil.
-
^^^as did i, if this doesnt work then the AT one may not work in an MT. let us know dude. Phil.
-
^^^^try this, its a resetting exercise. let us know dude. Phil.

WOW! that looks mega!!! kudos to your mate! i like it! Phil.

Armand, when u fitted the ECU, did u remove the EFI fuse for 10/15 mins? if not, do this, and try her again. remove the small EFI fuse in the engine bay fuse box, let her sit (switched off of course) for 10 15, plug the fuse back in, switch her on and let her idle to warm up, then start driving her, dont nail the shit out of her right away but give her some beans for a few pulls, then start giving her full throttle in 3rd and 4th. there is no science in my explanation, i am not a mechanic, but thats how Jay and I set up my Blitz ECU at the weekend there. Phil.

no really, u sicken me. i am sickened. ill. unwell. gagging and vomiting at the same time, gavomiting, if you will. chav tastic. some people. you need stronger medication for your mental hilarity. a Castrol Liveried Sup is cool. PERIOD! i should give u lessons in cool because clearly u am confuddled! fairly sure these were in the first Gran Tourismo, that therefore makes them cool. that concludes less one foo'! Phil. -

thanks Raffi. those wheels definately suit an EP91 more than a GT as Jay noted yesterday. he currently has them fitted to a silver V. now, silver wouldnt be my favorite colour in them if im truthfully honest, but there is something striking about the combo of those gold speedies on a silver V! i couldnt stop looking at it! Phil.

more good calls there. nope, EP91 optional dash top storage tray isn't pictured. Phil. -
cheers folks. she was a lot of fun on the way home. she'll probably not turn a wheel until the end of the week again but i'll be looking forward to it!!!! very pleased with how this complimented the K1. big thanks to WeeJohn for the bargain deal and his patience and understanding. And a note to any would-be fitters of an EP82 aftermarket ECU to an EP91 - they dont fit. the glove box fouls them quite significantly due to the thickness of the ECU, so be preparted to hack away parts of your glove box and have to close it with two hands from then on. Phil.
