Have you checked the stamping on the crank? I know my 4EFE has an FET crank but other 4EFE engines just have FE crank. My FET crank pictured above. The FE has smaller counter weights were as the FET crank has larger counter weights. He might have said it has a 4EFE bottom end because he's had it rebuilt with a 4EFE crank.
You should always have the head skimmed when the head gasket has blown. The heat will warp the head and even valve seats so a skim and pressure test is a must.
No. I've got someone on there way to get it. I didn't want someone to hit buy it now before they came and I didn't want to end the auction in case they didn't turn up so I just added a 0 on the end. No one sane would spend £450 on a second hand stock spoiler unless it had an SR attached to it.
Standard Glanza is 940kg, stock UK is 830kg, turbo kit (big cast catalyst), bigger alternator, bigger gearbox, thicker driveshafts, thicker radiator A/C......etc make up that extra weight on the glanza.
Soldering won't be your problem it's tracing the wires so you know exactly where they go, so you know which wire does what. There are no wiring schematics available for our cars. I'm not trying to put you off trying but it would be alot easier doing the interior loom than trying to rewire the engine bay fuse box. If you just get a 98 specs engine bay loom it will literally plug in, look neat under the bonnet and the dash loom is hidden away behind the glove box. I should have sourced a 98spec loom. If I do it again. I won't be doing it the long way. I've had to change the brake pedal as it's
