  1. Please please please get the correct loom unless you have days/weeks of time. I'm trying transfer all my turbo converted 96 parts over to my 98spec SR and it's a nightmare. Everything is different between the 96 and 98 specs, even the dash bar is a different shape/fixings.
  2. It's not just plug and play on the 91 ecu mate. The interior plug that plugs into the ECU is different from the turbo one so it needs to be re-pinned. Only thing is the pins are different as well so I ended up chopping each pin off, soldering the correct type pin on and then putting the correct plug on. It's not hard it's just figuring it out so everything is in the correct place.
  3. Nar old school me.... outside in the snow never did anyone any harm. Yeah I'm using an 4efe as well. 4efte are overrated you can get good power from the fe and they're readily available compared to the fte. I've got 3 spare fe engine if needed and a set of fte pistons. Cheers Luke
  4. I don't. I've just bought an SR to swap everything from my turbo'd CD, the SR is a 98spec and CD is 96spec but I'll be changing everything if the dash loom is different between the 96 and 98 specs. I'll let you know as I'll probably be starting it the morrow.
  5. I've got a set of these. A fifth would be nice. Not sure I can justify £63 just for a spare though full set of 4 only cost £90 with tyres.
  6. You don't need to change the clocks stalks column fuel pump. I just changed the engine loom and ecu, soldered a few wires and it was turbo'd. As far as I'm aware all the SR models are 98spec. I'm yet to see one that's got the 96spec loom. So yeah get a face-lift loom. Or post a photo of your under bonnet fuse box with the lid off and I'll tell you if it's the early or later loom
  7. My 4efe has stock clutch and handles 10psi just fine.
  8. I've got two sets 🤗 there called chicanes.

    Omex

I've used one. It destroyed my ringlands! Det is your worst enemy.
  10. It's not on the VVTi solenoid is in a bolt just below. If you Google it you'll find pictures it's a wire mesh screen filter.
  11. Rear inner sills rot, sunroof leaks, front caliper sliders seize, throttle body sensor fault and lambda fault brings up eml. Crud blocks a little filter on the VVTi if not serviced regular. Rear lights leak in water to the boot. Gears sticks/grinds from 2-3 3-4 like starlets. Other than that there a cracking car. I'd have one again.
  12. That could be a turbo > NA exhaust conversion pipe.
  13. That's 79680 in miles there logging Km as miles
  14. FYI it's an R2D2, might help sales.
  15. Put a picture up of the inside of the engine bay fuse box.
  16. Glanza and UK has two different looms 96spec and 98spec. Your life will be so much easier getting the right year loom. I've a 96spec CD and 96spec glanza loom, It just plugged in under the bonnet. The dash loom from uk will not plug into a glanza ecu. You need to chop the plug off and replace it with glanza type one there are also 2 other plugs that need modified but it's not hard to do. The Glanza does not have an immobiliser you can keep the stock UK starlet key and setup untouched it won't effect it.
  17. Have a removable custom baffle put on it..... for them summer day when you want to be heard. ;)
  18. Just turbo the 4efe. Trust me it's fun with double the HP from stock and has potential.
  19. No. Totally different rear axle. Ep91 has shock and spring together. Yaris had shock and spring separate like a corsa rear axle.
  20. Ask amjad. He has one on a short shifter.
