raffa_mk replied to LeeroyV's topic in Lifestyle General
Will have to check it out at toys r us when I get my car back, like the different positions and compact that u mentioned. Had to get a maxi cozi baby car seat for mine as thats the only one that fits in the back and enough space for a passenger at front -

Lol luckily my exhaust went very quiet after fte which is bonus in a way for my little one, but do miss the raspy exhaust it used to be when n/a, am on the look out for a pram to fit in the boot too now lol. Any recommendations ? -
Bought off johnboy gt, he was meant to message you last night.

About time action has been taken, this will no doubt reduce the crap people put up, the amount of times people post up with no pics frustrate me. -
I've bought the tickets last night

tbh i didnt feel any different when i change accross in terms on engaging gears apart from reverse n getting used to 6th which was easy, when i was running n/a it felt much better that 5speed especially off the mark and dropping gears to access the power. not sure what happened to it but i think he has another one? i think you would need to look on toyota / corolla forums and see what power they are running on the box

is there going to be a convoy down from j27 again john?

wish it was that simple lol FTE is so much better but ive lost the big raspy exhuast note, but its better for when i ride with the little dude in the car thanks again, turbo had to be done, my mate just bought a civic ep3, things just got interesting there is a big write up to do on it and its currently getting work done to it as i type, a tasty light weight flywheel arrived today ive booked an appointment for next week, its 42 days where i am to register the name lol i get that alot with the starlet being the 1st one And Thanks again to everyone, it means alot

as some of you know i have been really busy lately and also became a dad to my 1st new born son on 30th May which is yet to be named ;) so i have just come back to start work on the car again, as some of you already now the car is now boosted and runing fte and have seen it at japfest, the build thread will take some time to catch up so i will be doing that in my spare time, got over 52 pages to catch up upon in the new topics lol but never the less is good to be back on the forums and thanks to everyone for the support with family and the car PS thanks for the t-shirts Josh

i think they are the same and not weaker, not come accross anyone who has broken a 6 speed box yet, mine is running sweat and ive had it over a year, for the power you are running i would search for a better gearbox that can handle the power, my car is running around the 180mark and spins up easily in 1st and 2nd on boost (with handling mods) if you plant it down, just have to be gentle and build boost in them gears so a 5speed will more ideal for you, but i really love the 6th gear on boost! espeacially on motorway and the drop down to 5th is really awesome. i will have my lightweight fly

this is fast motor, luke took me in it for a spin the day before you picked it up, and the springs are really good! and is the GT glow in the dark?

tracking experiance will come down to, ride height and damper ajustment, geomoetry, i found them really good on track and each track will need a slight adjustment, for combination i say meisters are best track side its this or BC's? but on streets these are leathal lol

great news , will be keeping an eye on this... get the green ep's boosted

i will try and get some pics of it this sunday as the pics on the phone are not a good angle and need better close up, might just do a quick video of it instead. also got the mesh guard on the intercooler to stop crap damaging it and increasing surface area for cooling.
-
these wheels really suit the car and looks really good! and picture quality is crisp
-
ive got a rx7 top mount intercooler but mounted it at the front of the car with the shortest route possible, so i have that same quick spool up and better cold air feed, best of both, so if you want you can get an arc top mount but mount it at the frount and bracket it up = winz :harhar:

dont think the 6speed is going make any difference in terms of how much power it can handle as its a 6th gear added on to excisting 5speed box 2bh, i love my 6speed when it was na but even more so boosting can take you for a spin in it at japfest if you can get in as my seats are high
