  1. Well the switch turned up! Just need to fit it now and get it all set up but that will be some time after Japfest now! Its going to be epic lol
  2. All you will gain from a FTE head is better valve springs, turbo cams are not the best for a N/A 5efhe cams would work tho. And no I dont want to sell the gasket lol I know how hard there going to be to get hold of!
  3. Your not wrong pull ya finger out from the clito and do something at this!!!
  4. Rob beat me lol
  5. I can see that lol but the fact remains its a N/A box not a GT or Glanza box. These are GT and Glanza gear boxes
  6. Just ordered one of these! Should make things fun once its all set up!
  7. Thats a n/a box a GT box would have the aluminium 5th gear cover on the end.
  8. The TRD gaskets are discontinued now! They where 0.6mm. Ive just got one off mikey on hear as a spair lol
  9. Id say that was more dash/ electrical than engine going on the noise I can make out
  10. Cheers for the comments lad except that Wallace bloke! Well since I fitted the OS Giken clutch the pedal has been right at the bottom which I thought was normal for that clutch but after 35,000 miles and hours of dyno time it had got to the point I could not get gears at all, So I pulled the box today and this is what I found! this clutch was apparently a factory recon that I very much doubt now! This is the friction plate notice the gap between the ruler and the drive spline hub, the hub should be higher than the face of the disc! its like a bowel!! Same for the pressure plate disc! That should be flat! So into the lathe it went! I used the tool grinder in the lathe to grind the surface flat. This is a spare plate I had for the clutch on the pressure plate side of the disc you could see it had only been working on the first 10mm of the outside edge of the disc, this is how I know the clutch must have been like this before I fitted it to my car!! but at least this one was flat still! you can see the ruler sits on the drive hub NOT the outside edge of the disc. So I put it all back together and its like a new car!! I dont need half as much travel to clear the gears and the bite point is where it should be now! Im going to order some new parts for the clutch now I know what was wrong with it but at least now I know it will get me to japfest!!!!
  11. I was thinking about changing them for some nasty white ones I have! So I might do yet!!! NOT!!!
  12. It was a common problem with all the willwood kits, but not all ball joints are the same some clear some dont, but a rub with a grinder on the bit of the ball joint that fouls will cure it!
  13. Cheers John! I will put this here for now! >https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bw-HbAcUo3A
  14. Well after another trip to RDT it is now mapped!! there is still some left in it but for now I will settle for 256 Wheel HP. To say its an animal is an understatement lol It was spinning up in 3rd in the dry with parada spec2 on. Will post picks, vids and some charts later on!
  15. I did some for a mate last year, every time he gave it some boot it was pulling into the middle of the road violently, the bushes where boloxed put pollys in and it was spot on!
  16. Strong winds? More info would help lol
  17. What are the engine/ gear box mounts like? because they can cause this problem too! Especially when giving it some boot.
  18. The biggest problem with cheep aftermarket rads is the vains are too small and restrictive and can put more load on the water pump and this can be seen on the dyno. The more expensive rads like fluidyne radiators flow much better and give better results.
  19. This is very true! even better is to have something like a door seal/ draft excluder sealing them together too so the fan pulls the air through the cooler then the rad! I carnt do this tho as my fans on the wrong side lol
  20. Yes mate very common!! There horrid things tbf lol!!
  21. It actually holds the same amount of coolant Colin with room for expansion, its only 2 1/2" pipe I did it more to fill the gap at the side of the rad than anything.
  22. Cheers Phil! Any time your over your welcome to a run in it!
  23. Got a TRD head gasket off Mickey last night perfect gent! had a good long chat and took him for a blast in my car, brill lad to deal with! Cheers Mate!
