  1. Got my 2nd set of Rays last week from Wallace! Perfect in every way through out the sale! the wheels came when they where supposed to in the condition they where described as! But now I can no longer take the piss out of his wheels any more!! But now as I own the wheels I think that Wallace should be changing his profile pick as I should have copyright over the image lol!!! Cheers Mate!!
  2. Im already running a TRD gasket Phil this one is just a spare to keep in stock along with the spare Rays lol
  3. Few more updates! These Rays Sebring Sprints turned up last week thanks to WallaceGlanza!! Theres been a long going thing about these wheels lol and now there mine!! These wheels are going into storage in a nice safe place so the nice Yokohama Parada Spec 2s came off and went on my rims! We have got some tuning done too but only up to gate pressure for now 0.5 bar. Im not too sure on the power but as Mikey pointed out its still pretty epic lol The first pick is one of aaddzz123 Then I had a play with the tig again yesterday my welding is
  4. Thanks mate!! Was a pleasure to meet you and to take you out in it and I sure will when we finish mapping it! The head gasket is nicely tucked away into storage!
  5. Sounds awesome but its a shame about the dragon boats! That was a good laugh last year! But I have no doubt it will be a awesome show just the same!
  6. How long you been wanking over it?? You've just about killed ya battery!! Lol
  7. I should have copyrighted mine lol!! Mine are still going strong on the glanzaif! But mine where painted!
  8. I was having a laf! but thinking about it you would still need to take the rocker cover off and stuff with a hot engine so youd still have steaming fingers lol but theres very few engines that you check the clearances on when there hot these days and long gone are the days we used to check them on a running engine HSE would have a heart attack lol
  9. That sounds horrid id say there was something out somewhere! What els has been done other than the coolant sensor?? has it just been built or something?
  10. the power steering brackets are different on the n/a engine Im quite sure they wont fit with the turbo oil filter housing. I used a mocal filter relocation set up on mine and have just made my own now to replace the mocal one have a look at my build to see what I did. http://www.ukstarletowners.com/topic/53321-rob-hs-td05-16g-4efe-sr-inlet-and-8-injectors-now-running/
  11. That is a bit tight but not a million miles off, exhaust on the n/a should be 0.31 to 0.41 on cold engine and inlet should be 0.15 to 0.25 I think the turbo spec is a bit more but ive been running the N/A specs on mine for years at 230 whp and with cruise cams so it carnt be far out lol
  12. I did mine to the toyota book spec but the n/a book but there sod all differance in the turbo spec to the n/a anyway. I would not do them hot tho as you would end up with very sore finges lol and the toyota book says to do them cold too. If there new valves on fresh cut seats they will tend to get tighter as they run in, not much tho if they where well lapped in. I did mine twice once when the enine was on the stand and again after around 1500 miles and most had got a bit tighter if anything. The engineering place that did the cutting and grinding on my valves did recommend setting the clea
  13. When do they wear down? I build engines at work on with one at the mo out of a 7 ltr bus its got 750,000km on the clocks the rings have worn through the liners before the bearings have worn out lol ive have 2 cars with over 250,000 miles on the clocks thats never had bearing problems. The bigest problem with bearings in our cars is the emence battering they get and bad tuning is also a cause of bearing failure. You fined a car that has WORN out the bearings from normal road use. 9 times out of 10 there will be a reason!
  14. The only reason a new built bottom end would fail is if the bearings are too tight or too loose.
  15. There a non friction part, hence building to a oil clearance, rings on the other hand are a friction part that makes direct contact with the bores so needs bedding in. The bearings float on oil thats why you loose oil pressure when they fail/ wear out because the clearance is to big so the oil escapes. There really is no need to bed in the bearings.
  16. But this is about bearings only not the bores isn't it? In that case there is no running in required!
  17. Ooo I might make one Im off then unless we end up in Whitby tho!
  18. My Rays sebring sprints! Im expecting a second set of these been delivered this week too!!!!!
  19. I need mainly from the turbo inlet to the p/s pipe and any thing below that may be in the way im thinking something like what rotaboost has done but in s/steel or alu.
  20. Can you get me some measurements to work with please I have a neet idea if the filter will go in the bumper area!
  21. Thanks mate! There sure will be some more vids to come! Along with the broken media one!
  22. I have one mate too out and ready to go!
  23. Mapping is now booked!!! just got the brakes to clean up and bleed, fit the bumper and give it a wash now I THINK LOL!!
