I think the main difference is the input shaft from the column if anything I think thats the only thing that varies a bit over the years, I think I have both in the shed but never compared them.

Well I finally have 2 fuel rails not a perfect pair but close enough for me!!! after 4 attempts at the second rail I managed to get the hole down the middle! I broke the drill bit in the process too so its a good job lol The broken drill! Machining it I have started making up the fuel pipes too but I will finish them once I have the fittings welded onto the rails. Manifold temp fitted with the rails!

Theres no need as such but 8 smaller injectors can give a much cleaner tune than 4 big ones, my ECU can run 10 injecors siquentually so it will only use whats needed, run less pressure so the injecors are not over fueling at low loads, just a much better way IMO plus this build is all about been different!

Cheers lads! John Im off work for another week yet I start back on 16th so if ya fancy it pop over for a cuppa! Had a play with the first of the fuel rails again to day I think this is going to end up been a test/ prototype as im not happy with the injector ports, as one is a bit oval due to the drill running off as it went through into the gallery, so next time I will drill the injector ports first! But any way heres some picks!! Theres still a lot more to do at it yet but its getting there!

Cheers Matt! Some more updates from today! Air filter mounted to the intake pipe! Then made a heat shield to try keep the intake temps down some more! Started with this Ended up with this! Got the radiator plumbed back in and the top pipe wrapped with heat proofing. And also got the fan all mounted up again to match the new rad position. Thats it again for today!

Bit more of an update! After deciding my mortising machine was not quite up been a milling machine I spent days looking at different machines and ended up getting a non runner that looks almost brand new but been a Chinese machine they are known to have issues mainly with the electrics and motor, So it got the full Rob H make over! I ordered a new motor, speed controller and a belt drive conversion to do away with the silly plastic gears. I also replaced all the bearings in the head with proper precision machine bearings instead of the more like starlet rear wheel bearings it came with.

On the glanzas and GT you will prob fined most of the milage is in Ks not miles so will have less than you think on them, my n/a engine was getting close to 160k with no problems -
