Cheers mate! There will some more updates soon! As I have now ordered the second set of injectors and some nice lumps of billet to make some fresh fuel rails out of so I dont need to use the top hats on the injectors to make them fit the toyota rails!! Been on with this for the last few days so I can get some pallet racking up and sort out all the Starlet bits into some sort of order lol because there taking over all my workshop space!! Its not a bad size at 20 foot long!! Had it given 2 years ago so its about time I put it up lol.

I drilled and tapped mine and it tapped out perfect been like it 30,000+ miles now no problems, You can tap anything with good results if you do it properly and use the correct lube with a good quality tap.

/\/\/\ This! theres nothing wrong with having them powder coated but make sure there 100% clean and sand free before refitting! I dropped this bollock before many years ago and spun a shell, I wont do it again! but I would still have stuff powder coated!

Do I need to grease new crank seal?
Rob H@RCH Engineering replied to paddy's topic in MOT & Maintenance
just wet the sealing lip with engine oil mate thats all it needs the outer side needs to be clean and dry. -
The spring pressure is nothing to do with the amount of boost you run, the spring rate is more down to the vacume pressure that opens it, a soft spring will open sooner as it needs les vac to open it a hard spring will open later. I run the softest spring in my tial shimmed up with washers to get it how I like it.
