  1. The most effective way of stopping it coming back is to use a spot sandblaster. It will remove very little of the metal but gets deep into it to remove the corrosion. Or you can use rust converter stuff that like an acid that kills the corrosion and stops it then paint over the area. Grinding takes too much of the steel away for me on panels that are very thin to start with. One thing to be sure of is you get the treatment well into the joint of the two panels as thats were it will have started.   6. needs to be at 4E if only running the cams or any one running cams with more lift would be affected too! I run the fhe cams in one of my old builds on the 4e marks.

  9. Id say it was for the center bolt for the oil filter housing. I could be wrong but I think thats about the only thing that big.

  14. It perfectly normal for them to make a noise like that even the n/a engine does it I think its down to the noise from the cam and the air flow through the baffle plate in the cover.
  15. I work 4 on 4 off, 6pm till 6am regular nights with the odd bit of over time. I get 21 days hol so in all I only work about 5 month out of 12 l!!

Cheers lads!! and yes it does spool very well for a TD05 16G im hitting full boost for 4000 or just over and as for traction its not too bad on a good dry day but it depends because some times I still get spin in 3rd and 4th depending on the road surface! John yes I have plenty of japfest convoy video just need to finish chopping it down theres about 3 hours of video to go at!! plus the wind noise was realy bugging me on it hence trying to reduce it ready for JF2!!!!

  21. I ground off the lugs that hold it in place then drilled and tapped it 6mm to bolt it back in with a small bead of silicone now it can be taken out when ever needed. Don't forget to stud lock the bolts tho ya don't want them falling out!
