Cheers mate it was nice talking to you too! Well I got some more done today got some paint on and the wax oil in the wheel arches. That should help keep it rust free! I also got cracked on with relocating the battery to the boot, I have had the box ages now so I thought I best get on with it! I made all new earth leads to go around the engine bay too as I have used 2 core wire for the relocation it made sense to change them wile I was doing it all. The ones on the right are the earth and the ones on the bobbing are the poss. The cables into the boot I

4efe to 4efte ignition question
Rob H@RCH Engineering replied to grimpigeon's topic in Alternative Engine Discussions
You can use the same key if you use the ep82 ecu as they dont have a coded key like the uk cars, the wiring is not that hard to do its only a case of swapping some wires in the ecu plugs and swapping some plugs over I have the wiring diagrams for doing it we did when I did mine years ago, but you will still need a ep82 loom and ecu for the engine. -
4efe to 4efte ignition question
Rob H@RCH Engineering replied to grimpigeon's topic in Alternative Engine Discussions
you need to change the wiring harnesses and the ecu too, you can convert the wring harness from the n\a to work too but it takes a bit of doing but you will still need the ecu, if you modified the harness to fit its easier to use a ep82 ecu as there a 2 plug like the n\a loom. -

Well I have the ramp to my self for a week so I thought I would give it a good tidying up underneath! I had not been going long when I found some suspicious bubbles in the paint on the drivers side sill. I then proceeded to scrape them off only to fined the was not a lot left at the back of the paint! So this is what I have been up to today!! http://s87.photobucket.com/user/turbosr_2006/media/toylet/null_zpsd20f6d28.jpg.html'> A bit more prodding and it turned into this! http://s87.photobucket.com/user/turbosr_2006/media/toylet/null_zps620f7836.jpg.html'> so I then

Well 12 years after I fitted them I have removed the tints from the windows, I removed the fronts years ago because the feds kept stopping me for them been too dark so its looked like a van ever since! I had forgotten how much of a t**t the sticky was to get off but with the help of the autobrite glue and tar remover it wasn't all that bad! http://s87.photobucket.com/user/turbosr_2006/media/toylet/null_zpsfb0446f0.jpg.html'> I all so fitted my adjustable rear panhard rod and sorted out some other gremlins in prep for japfest!

Send john a ECC on TGTT he normally has them in stock I got mine from them top service BUT can be a bit slow on pm's so you could phone them. As for the hasting rings we have used them in many engines over the years V8s and all sorts and have always been spot on but not in a starbo yet!
