This is what I said in your first topic looks like tuning problems to me. A small percentage is still too much! A good tuner should not have problems like this how ever many times they tune an ECU, its like getting in the car every now and then and forgetting how to drive!!

turbo mesh or induction kit relocated
Rob H@RCH Engineering replied to RossTRD's topic in Intake, Turbo & Exhaust
There is 2 main differences relocation- nice clean filtered air going into the engine Mesh- stops bricks getting sucked in but lets dust, grit and other stuff in that then mixes with oil and fuel and turns into grinding paste inside your engine, good for cars that dont get used on public roads much and on drag strips and for some one that likes rebuilding engines. This is my opinion others may not agree. -

Ya need to finish it and drive it!! towings for girls lol -
MAF is going backwards in tuning terms, map is much better but if thats all you have to use you will have to use it. The hole map will be miles out if he had cams in his car, Timing and every thing will need redoing even if it runs I would not drive it with out getting it set up to your engine spec.

I remember watching the race! was not good at all he was a dam good driver!

SR+ spec list discussion thread
Rob H@RCH Engineering replied to rmsnoel's topic in Lifestyle General
mines had a load of different seats over the 12 years lol started with the crap SR ones then XR3I seats, metro GTI seats then onto GT seats and last of all EVO 3 Recaros by far the best ive had! The other things I have always found to be crap are the headlights there very poor and all ways have been and the lack of power! but other than that I carnt fault mine at all apart from the lights mine is just how I want it now! -
CJ performance fuel rail issue UPDATE!!!
Rob H@RCH Engineering replied to Lew91's topic in Lifestyle General
I have not tried fitting mine yet but the first thing I did spot was all the swarf/drilling left overs in the fuel rail. Not very good for your injectors! and why had they been re-drilled after been anodized if there was no problem with them? Then the other thing I spotted was when I screwed the fitting in the end it does not sit level so would not tighten onto the seal properly. -

Rob H@RCH Engineering replied to Rob H@RCH Engineering's topic in Video Gallery
This one was built by the owner in his garage its a stock block with forged pistons and rods, he spent weeks polishing the block and gear box. He will be competing at most of the events this year so should see some good times. This was a retune as his old manifold was so restrictive it was strangling it big time. I have the dyno screen shots comparing both manifolds at the same boost pressure and the difference is night and day! -
LSD box confirmation needed
Rob H@RCH Engineering replied to Azz's topic in Drivetrain & Transmission
Chances are it is then but to be sure as you have a shaft out I would pop the CV and a look inside, both wheels should turn the same way with a LSD but its not all ways the case but it is a good way to get an idea.
