Anyone changed all bottom end bearings with crank in place?
Rob H@RCH Engineering replied to Taggy's topic in Engines
The only thing I can see causing you problems is the crank seals they will stop it dropping much, but I think you should be able to get them out still. -

To be honest mate I dint know much about them at all when I got the first one! It looked nice, but I have looked into them a lot more over the years and its surprising how many pros do use em! to list a few Joe Satriani, Korn, Slip Knot and many more!! But the way they look is still the main thing for me! http://www.ibanez.co.jp/artist/artist2008.php?CATEGORY_ID=1&area=3

Rob H@RCH Engineering replied to 5T4R7ET N/A's topic in Wanted
I have a Uk spec one I have just removed from mine the bearing seemed ok when I removed it, The glanza ones do fit but the hole for the track rod end is drilled in a slightly different place so it puts the tracking way out but it can be adjusted back ok, Im running glanza ones on mine now. -

Tell that to some one from Yorkshire or any other mining area!! We used to have a heavy haulage company transporting coal from pit to power stations all over the country my great granddad started it off with horse and cart doing coal deliverys door to door and around business all around Yorkshire, then we started with steam trucks wright up to having our own fleet of 12 8x4 tipper trucks, loading shovels, 20+ staff and every thing els over the 60 years of W H Hartley haulage and plant hire! Been based in Barnsley working through the strikes would not have been a good idea and eventually it too -
