HKS actuator install and a few questions
StuDoc 72 replied to whitestar's topic in Intake, Turbo & Exhaust
I asked about this as i wanted to do the same but in the end the ac had to go. How hot does it get in finland lol? Or is for clearing your windows? Yeah u can take all that out but u do need to remove the power steering pump it is very simple though. As for the efi pipe i assume your bov is directly onto the hot pipe? So everything other than the airfilter shud be blocked off. Normally the recirc valve is bolted on to the efi pipe. If you take a couple photos of your bay i can explain in more detail. -

Good enough cars but going from boost to this will be painful like socks said they are very slow ud regret it in about a month imo it would be a step down. Ive got a corsa vxr which are considerably more powerful and it is to be quite honest PISH

Depends how much you are spending. If I was going for somthing different I'd get something Lenso but they are pricey.

Rota Grid v's i think. Get some black and chrome Rota GT3's on there if you fancy a chrome lip.

All cars have the same fitment up untill about 2009 when most got fitted with aero wipers which have a different clip at the end of the arm. Other than that the only real difference in wiper arms is angles and length. The end where the wiper goes is universal and the bit that bolts to the motor is pretty much the same all the time.

Hyper silver maybe josh? But I know exactly what you mean I dont think they are chrome either.

Its your actuator like said above? Since you have no management I'd leave it exactly as is. You want to stay away from fuel cut as much as possible as constantly rattling off it isnt good for the car. I'd fit an HKS actuator and set it to about .5 or .6 even tho u wont reach .7 like you do now I n garuntee the better holding of boost makes it feel more powerful. I have a tongs ct9 just now with an HKS actuator as im waiting to get more stuff before mapping my emu and even as it is the .5 pisses all over standard ct9 at .9 just a smoother and bigger delivery.

HKS actuator install and a few questions
StuDoc 72 replied to whitestar's topic in Intake, Turbo & Exhaust
If you have the standard recirc valve then there should be a small pipe going from that to the nipple and that will block it. If not just block that off yourself. If you want to run 1 bar of boost though the EFI pipe ideally needs to go to allow you fo fit a front mount air filter. So a little relocation kit gets rid of all the hassle with this junk. -
Youd be better off with white spray grease, copper grease will work perfectly but the copper is added to resist heat and just makes right mess when its not completely necessary. If you use it for this it will work fine but will just make it more hassle ud be far neater and less hassle using white spray grease just a little tip.

HKS actuator install and a few questions
StuDoc 72 replied to whitestar's topic in Intake, Turbo & Exhaust
Depending on your set up. With a decat ported mani and port the wastegate you should be able to avoid creep. -
Ill be up for it but I dont think it will go ahead never really does not since yous had 1 in dundee and me shaun n rob had a little get together last year. Not fussed about location would obv prefer stirling or falkirk but i'll go regardless. Not bothered about space or that im not going for any tunnel runs or anythin just a chat get to know folk for the summer events maybe.

HKS actuator install and a few questions
StuDoc 72 replied to whitestar's topic in Intake, Turbo & Exhaust
Get rid of the other pipes all together. All you need is the short one from turbo to actuator. For a bar standard fuel pump should be fine and its unlikely it will run lean. Plug and play ECU's run rich to protect the engine. You will need a bigger Intercooler though id imagine wouldnt risk it on that tiny little thing. Id also uprate the plug leads. Get a boost gauge and preferably a wideband aswell just to keep an eye on the ratios since it wont be mapped your better playing it safe. Cant think of anything else but ask and ill help as best i can. -
There is an old couple near me who have a completely stock glanza. It even has wheeltrims!!
