I think you also get the option to select a serial port, maybe worth checking that to make sure it's reading it. John

Struggle to find one at the minute. Myself and a few others have been looking for a while. The website I found them new on were out of stock. I've just resorted to using it in km/h. John

Couldn't comment as I've never used a toyota one. All the bits that was in my kit worked as they should. John

Think its personal preference more than anything. My daily and my other car is between 6-10k and my Starlet will probably be about the 4-6k mark depending how long it takes. John

EBay get both rear caliper rebuild kits for £29. Rebuilt my rear calipers with them, worked a treat. John

I will do mate. Be a month or two down the line yet. Going for paint in a fortnight. John

I have the same mate, and from what I found on here quite a few people running the same pistons and rods complain of the same noise. I checked heaps of things, Inc valve clearances etc and they all seemed fine so I've basically put it down to being this combination of pistons and rods. Same as yourself, I've ran mine in and given it a fair bit of stick and she still runs perfectly so I will wait and see the view the mapper has on it when I go down with it. John

Can always try chappin on a slightly smaller socket as well. John

Shows if there is oil in there. Determines if your turbo seals have given up. John

EBay, measure up both ends and you will find it. ASH is where I get my silicone joiners etc John

Not worth the hassle in my eyes but you would make some money after you recouped your £70. John

Welcome to UKSO mate, glad you have sorted it. I was £2100 to insure my GT at 19, it's rough but it has to be done right. Sorry to hear about your missus, hope you and her are alright. John

Mate you are being given sound advice, it's not really a matter to chill about, it's irresponsible. But you go ahead and risk it, be my guest 👍 John
