  2. hey guys.. looking for a set of oem 5efhe pistons/rings..please PM if anyone has a set. thanks sacha
  3. ok i will keep you in mind mate..but right now just looking for the rings. are your's 74.5mm? can you post a pic? thanks
  4. hey guys...we really need a set of Ross racing 74.5mm piston rings. would anyone have a set they can part with? super urgent... sacha
  5. great build harry...unfortunately a lot of pics wernt loading up for me..dunno why. sucks about those floods man..i'd literally cry if that happened to my car!
  6. haltech..cant beat the features for that price.
  7. some times these delays happen guys...its part and parcel of the fabrication business (unfortunately). and every now and then..couriers seem to have a mind of their own..its happen to us once or twice..i usually just ring up my shipping guy and go rambo on his arse haha. just be patient..i am sure it will be there soon and you will be well chuffed once mapped!
  8. hey spuddy..when you getting that new clutch fitted mate? i am eagerly waiting till ECC release the price etc..we need a new clutch badly heh
  9. fmic for sure..its a no brainer when you compare intake air temps! the problem with most kits on the market today is that the cooler is a little out of proportion (too big) for the ct9's...hence why most complain about lag/dulled throttle response. the wepr kit is appropriately sized and will cool up to 350bhp without sacrificing lag/response. our piping also takes the shortest route possible..also moderate size cooler means you don't have to cut the bumper (unless you want the cooler to be more visible). just FYI.
  10. i have pm'd keith..awaiting a response and quote. was just wondering in the mean time if anyone else had a kit they wanted to part with. cheers..
  11. does anyone have a set for sale?used or new OK. please PM me with what you got. thank you. sacha
  12. spot on..if you must change something..then change the pistons. if its for something like a td04 upgrade then stock internals will still hack it although the common trend is to fully forge for the slightest increase in power
  13. interested in the magnetic oil sump bolt (need it shipped to an address in the uk). could you pm me your PayPal please? also how much does that diffuser weigh(roughly)? is it aluminum?
  14. he's got the best prices..hands down! we usually order all our piston/rod combos from him..sometimes stuff get delayed(thats expected)..but he will always deliver.
  15. yes it came in a big ROSS box..the pistons were individually wrapped like yours..this is how they've come every time we ordered pistons. if you ordered from sam, then there was a delay due to ross taking longer to fill the order. i had to wait the same amount of time.
  16. i got my 74.5's couple of days back..has 74m stamped...but its 74.5mm when measured . the report you got with your pistons should also confirm this
  17. pm'd again! ps: recieved my battery tray...awesome...adam was a pleasure to deal with!
  18. nice...keep em' coming! our car is going through a rebuild at the moment..so i update on FB along the way. we already managed 330whp despite not being able to rev past 5880rpm(91 octane)..hopefully the issues will be sorted out shortly and we'll be able to get close to 400whp...fingers cross
  19. there is a lad from the netherlands (Erik) that made 285whp on his fully built 5E with our hybrid td04 kit. there was another lad over at tggt.com some time ago that managed 292bhp (or something like that)..but i cant remember his user name. on 4e+stock td04L's we usually average around 275-280bhp (+/- small amount)..on a 5e..it wont make too much horsepower over the 4e..but definitely more torque which is nice. but Lew is correct..300 should not be very hard on a 5e+stock td04L
  20. what?? no facebook? tsk tsk
