hey stefan, only happen to come across your thread now or else i would have contacted you sooner. yes, i am surprised as everyone else that one of our newer generation manifolds have cracked. this is the first sr-series manifold since its release couple of years back that has encountered a cracking issue. we are currently shut for our new year and re-open on the 22nd. if you can PM me your name/shipping address..i can have a new manifold shipped out to you once we re-open. will need a little bit of time for fabrication though. i apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you mate.

the stock genuine gasket can take a fair bit of abuse tbh. back in early 2001-2004 i was running several different turbos (td05, t3 , gt2876r etc) at 1.5-1.8bar boost and it never gave out. make sure the head/block is straight and use new oem bolts. arp's would do fine too. would always recommend a metal HG for a full build..but if your on a budget..you may be able to get by for the moment with your oem HG. we are using an athena on my car right now and dont seem to have any issues.

have you checked for boost leaks or exhaust gas leaks? could just be something simple like that mate. check for cracks around the wastegate penny too if your using the stock actuator. also try removing the mesh temporarily and see if it helps.

you kit is being shipped out monday Liam! i just finished it on saturday evening..but had not time to post

we changed up our fabrication techniques, welding consumables used, materials used etc. this was 5-6 years ago and this is when our products dramatically improved in durability. all our manifolds are purged also which is a must. we did have incidents of cracking prior to these changes this and each and every customer was either refunded or provided with a non faulty unit. we were the first to offer lifetime warranty..i believe other manufacturers are doing the same now which is great we have many customers who use their ep's for cirucit/time attack and rally and so far our products have he

we have not had a td04 manifold (or larger turbo manifold) or de-cat crack on us in the last 5-6 years!! not one...

hey mate, speak to Azerty..he was using one of these untill recently. turbo has good spool and very decent power capability...nowhere near the a 16g, but still will flow 220-245hp easily..maybe a bit more depending on the set up.
