Personally think that's a piss take lol. Really annoys me on ebay that as a seller you can't leave bad feedback for a buyer.

Strange... I've seen it happen to the cheaper tyres like I said but wouldn't have expected it from s drives. I have them on my GT and no problems... saying that I do get a wheel wobble but I'm pretty sure it will be balancing lol. I've never understood why it happens but it's got to be down to the rating of the tyres and the abuse they get I imagine. Also the tyre pressures? I always just thought it was down to cheaply made tyres not being rated properly to what they said they were.
-
This does happen very rarely bit usually to crappy budget tyres such as ling longs, West lakes or wanli. I agree with Jamie. Check your weights are still on the wheels and then run your hands around the tyres to feel for any bulges. Make sure you check the walls too including the inside walls. Also check the tread to feel if it goes up and down a bit like a Mexican wave as you run your hands around. Does it do it all the time or just certain speeds?

Nottingham. I won't post either in case you ask lol. Collection only.

Wellllll I went too hard when flattening back the roof roof and roof and ended going back to primer under the new paint. Shouldn't have gone so far with the primer and chances are it would have been fine but this is a project and a learning curve after all ;). Through the blend So... The roof needs painting ideally. I thought it makes sense anyway seeing as there's been long standing bird shit on there in the past anyway having left loads of marks that I can't get rid of plus there's another dent in the roof that I didn't originally notice.... So currently the bodywork looks like this... There was a dent here, half way through flattening it when I had to go view a house so had to put some paint on to hide bare metal lol Two steps forward one step back n all that haha -

Aup mate . Yeah the mk1 is mine but! I've only had it 2 weeks and I'm half way through sorting the bodywork so it looks shit AND my mates get excited over a turbo and started revving it, that wasn't me if you heard lol! 91 looks nice pal. I go to the poets quite often because a few of my.mates work there. Might see you there again some time -

I'll update this bit for you ... Not long ago Jo had a little bump into the back of another car. No major issue but it did push the front end in a little. So I had the pleasure of fixing it being "the one with the bodywork knowledge" (this is also a good example of being a good partner, even if she makes me out to be shit ). The main sign was that the driver's light was pointing inward like a lazy eye. Made little SOB look a little challenged! When you popped the bonnet a sure sign was the radiator being pushed back against the battery. Luckily not damaged though Also this made it pretty obvious... I spent a good hour or two having stripped everything out the way, realigning the light and pulling brackets straight, making everything fit properly again... Luckily it only really bent the removable slam panel, bar that goes from top to bottom, bent the headlight bracket and twisted the top slam panel. Nice and straight And eventually after putting it all back together no one would be any the wiser Now we're just after an ep80 slam panel if anyone is aware of any that are available? Turns out the EP82 ones don't fit and it's harder to get parts for an ep80 than it is the 82 lol! Who would have thought that would happen 20 years ago.

I'm still learning myself to be honest buddy! I've done paint here and there for years but don't know it all... I personally learn from trial and error, just getting out there and doing it. Can't really risk it on "customer" cars though ... But depending on what you need doing I may be able to help? Cheers ! I'm using the paint mixed by my local shop. It's a 2k as it's a solid colour and I prefer to use a 2k solid rather than base coat and clear. Just quicker and easier in my opinion. That's what I thought haha! You'll find thinner removes quite a lot of stuff. Actually pretty good on tar and tough dirt too. Just don't go mental with it on paint as obviously, could rub through quite easily. It might mist plastics over too such as wind deflectors, so just try it right on the tip or something before if you're unsure..... I sound like the back of a tin -
If you're ever out of work, put enough aside to pay the bills for 4 months and give it a go. Budget as well as you can and just go do whatever takes your fancy! I didn't enjoy my previous job one bit, so most the time I was there I was thinking of what else I could be doing with my time lol! I'm busy most the time surprisingly. I find that I WANT to do stuff that I didn't give a shit about before because I didn't care for it, being too tired or fed up etc. Simple stuff like I mow the lawn every week or turn the soil because I want to, sanded down the garden gate the other week ready to paint because it took my fancy. Or just go and help my mates out doing whatever it is because I'm free and can...... I can always find stuff I want to do but I do still tie money into in here and there because sadly the world revolves around it and you need something to live on. Also it's surprising how much money you can make from just doings bits and bobs.
-
I'm currently having myself a gap year. Or something like that lol! I make my money from doing paint jobs and producing, editing or even just the filming of video. Do other bits and bobs too like mechanics for most my mates, buy fix and sell cars when a good earner pops up. So far from my experience of going from full time work with lots of money to complete bum and scraping by but doing what I want, I'd say that everyone should try it! We're all too hooked into jobs to earn money, pay bills and buy shit we don't need. Everyone is too busy trying to build something so that they can live, and end up forgetting to live in the process! Quit your jobs. Just do what you want to haha! As Shorty says, "the less you give a fuck the happier you'll be"

I used to work at National Tyres so had chance to play about with my tracking a bit. I personally felt that +1 toe in worked well for me. I used to have my BCs rebound set about half way on the rear and about 10 clicks from the hardest on the front and I liked it around there for road although it was a bit skippy on rougher roads. Never actually played around with the camber properly but guessed and gave it a bit... Whether it was ever in line or not is another question but it drove nice lol! Bit of camber made it feel more "point and shoot" in the corners. Used to be really grippy and the first signs of the rear stepping out were always predictable but if you didn't correct it sharpish it would step out really fast. Always had to be on ball when fast driving but that's how I like my car to be set up. Never lost it or went seriously out of control but numerous times I've come out of a corner broadside a bit more than I'd like to have lol! My advice would be to try what works best for you and then find the limit step by step SLOWLY (and safely), and then make adjustments to see how you feel, if it works better for you or not. At the end of the day we all drive differently, we all prefer a different set up and how a car handles is entirely up to you.

Hi mate I'll pm you exactly what I have tomorrow. Cheers.

I'm sure it will be worth it when it's done mate ... I certainly will be putting it back on although it does have a bit missing out of it for some reason. Looks like it been chewed or something lol! I ask my buddy who works for toyota how much they were and apparently with staff discount they're still about £110 each! So get one from a scrap car if I were you lol. I will be eventually.
