I think the only way you really learn how to do this is from experience. I think you need to have been on both sides of the situation before you can appreciate how she feels and same applies for her. In the past I've been bored and lonely whilst my partner would be out all the time and I used to feel like shit but then in turn I spend a lot of time with mates now or busy doing stuff and spend little time with my mrs when she's bored and lonely. I think you both just need to be reasonable. You both want to do your own thing and both want to see each other. Get to know one another's friends bu

MK1 GT Snow Edition - Full respray finally

Snow friends haha . I'm now running fully on td04! I just need to plumb in my boost gauge, pressure reg and fuel pump so that I can turn the boost up a little . I also finished off my intercooler piping which is all stealthy! Didn't have to cut the bumper what so ever and it's all braced in properly with the pipes being as short as possible too. Really quite happy with the end result. Super short pipework And barely even visible Looking to finish the bodywork within a few weeks now. After that I'll be thinking about taking the engine out to change the clutch and sort the disgusti -
Item For Sale: Zisco (so I'm told lol) ct9 manifold which has been braced and strengthened. Isn't the prettiest but can't imagine it will ever break. (I've since taken the manifold off and snapped a stud in the process, It also revealed all the original cracking inside the manifold which has been welded up... It's not really that much of a problem to replace the stud and the manifold shouldn't break again looking at the welding, however I've reduced the price accordingly.) Japspeed decat downpipe for ct9. The brace has snapped off but works fine without. I'd personally grind the rest off. Hap

whats quicker? civic type r or corrola T sport?
aaddzz123 replied to GlanzaJim's topic in Lifestyle General
Type r is faster out the box but from word of mouth the rolla is the better driver. Also having been in both the rolla just seems a much better.made car, better designed inside and sounds better ;). I'd rather have the T sport. -

Cheers dude . Did you get your engine? The starter was a massive difference. Should Deffo be able to tell the difference physically . There were some funny situations haha! I have a personal favorite which I'll keep between us ;). Well been busy again. I forgot to mention that I have fixed the clocks. I ended up taking a mk3 tacho and using that. Turns out they're exactly the same but mounted upside down lol. Swapping it out cured the problem and now works as it should . I've also been quietly gathering parts to go td04 which I managed to fit today. I had the manifold braced before I fit -
I have a set but live in Nottingham. Only want 50 for the whole set. Collection only though.

Is this aimed at me? Lol

Can't really stop the bottom end from going as it's general wear usually or no oil. When a Ringland goes though I'm sure it's usually down to the fueling? I blew one once because I was running a "plug and play" ecu which aren't so plug and play lol. Take it apart and see if the bore is scored or not. If not pop a new piston in and a set of rings and you practically have a brand new engine if it was recently rebuilt.

My old gt was a 242bhp daily but in my honest opinion was a bit too much to drive it nice and easily around your every day bends. I used to turn it down to 1 bar running about 220 bhp and that for me felt perfect. It was just at the point where you could pretty much keep it pinned and be near the limit if your balls were big enough

Is there a reason you only have automatics? Just curious -
Do it haha! Few years ago the tent was like a rave for about 4 hours and it was a right laugh. I'm certain everyone witnessed my shitty dancing lmao. MK1 GT Snow Edition - Full respray finally

Cheers Amjad . Slow progress but getting there haha. I finally managed to get my hands on some suspension and lowered the car on shocks and springs yesterday. Sits like a normal car now and handles a dream compared to before. I also put 45 profile tyres on the front and 50 on the rear. Ran this set up on my old gt and felt it just handled better. Front is more responsive now which is nice. I also changed the starter motor because it was sticking and left me stranded a few times. I had to change a coolant hose at the same time which had a pin hole and was losing water. All fun and games gett -
Hi mate I'm sorry I completely forgot about this thread. Out of all that stuff I only have trim around handbrake, boot lid trim and the rear top mount covers. Pm me if you're still interested . Cheers Bump!

I will add a third feedback to this and say I'm over the moon with the service you've provided. Packaging was very thorough and some stuff even cake in original boxes which is always nice. Loads of tape and padding etc, provided a tracking number and replied quickly to messages. Pleasure to deal with . Cheers Toby!

I'll take the fuel pump if you do

I understand why you're upset Jacob but in matts defense there is no proof that you didn't run the engine for 2 weeks or 3 weeks or whatever before doing the damage, there was no warranty given and it was sold as seen and I also doubt that it would have made a 350 mile trip on a knocking bottom. I recently bought a car that turned out the cam belt wasn't on properly and the wheel nearly fell off which could have been a fatal accident but that's tough shit because I bought it sold as seen. All you can do is have a moan and ask for an apology but it wasn't matts responsibility to give you anyth
