  1. Just putting out for this again... Few bits and bobs I've done recently. Scrape before Scrape after Dents before Dents after Broken chipped fiberglass wing before After the repair unpainted Both wings painted Civic which had new arches welded in and then I went over the whole thing smoothing dents along with a few other areas and then painted the whole car. Before During And after I've done loads of other work too but this is just stuff I've got on my computer recently. Will consider all work but smaller stuff preferred. Now have a decent gazebo to k
  2. Mr metcalfe ;). I'll PM you in a moment buddy
  3. After a full set of hard pipes and joiners for a front mount. Some of it I can improvise and make but the cold side pipes I'd rather buy ones made to fit or I'll end up getting some welded.
  4. I'm trying to put a TD04 kit together for my new GT but have to work with a budget... I can get a brand new Toyosports manifold and downpipe for £100, have a turbo and can get a oil feed for £40 so please no silly prices. I'm willing to spend a little more for a decent brand. Open to both internally gated systems as well as external. What you got Cheers!
  5. Haha! It's like Christmas . You'll have to talk to Jo about the bumper bar. I'm not 100% sure exactly what she wants to do yet but I'm sure she'll happily natter away with you at MFN later .... Probably a good thing pictures don't work haha! It's not very pretty at the moment ;). Thanks matey ! I'm very DIY supportive with pretty much everything. There was a time I knew nothing about mechanics or paintwork but I learnt from having a crack myself and I'm really really glad that I just got on and did it instead of paying someone else... Have a go mate. If it doesn't turn out great, do some re

  11. I suppose it depends where your turbo is . Presuming it's in the standard place then yes you would be getting colder air if you had a filter behind the grill.
  12. I'll be there too . Going to try and paint my roof beforehand lol!
  13. You know I won't turn that down haha! I'll have whatever you don't want tbh. Can always use a bit of both. I've been getting rid of that dent in the middle of the roof today. I originally was just building it up with paint but thought it might take forever so ended up smearing some filler over it to speed things up. It probably took longer doing it that way to be honest seeing as there wasn't really and filler left when I was done lol! But here we are for now.
  14. Looks good Look forward to seeing how it drives too
  15. I don't suppose you'd be willing to share what these came out of?
  16. I'd be interested to know too. Clearly not running on all 4, maybe even just 2 with how lumpy it sounds... Can't see any smoke or mess out the breather so rather than piston problems I'd guess more of a valve problem? Could be as simple as coil pack or king lead lol.
  17. I'm really tempted with this but my GT currently has literally 0 handling mods lol. It wellows around like a jelly, hard to stop it rolling over at normal speeds
  18. This one looks perfect for smashing up lol http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Saxo-VTS-Track-Car-not-clio-106-gti-Rollcage-Bucket-seats-/181452053700?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item2a3f629cc4
  19. So you're not allowed to do engine conversions either? Has to be a car that came originally with THAT 1.6 or less? As much as I love the starlet, against a shit box saxo with nearly 50bhp more, you won't stand a chance lol.... I'd probably go for a saxo too if I'm honest. Unless you find a civic vti cheap enough (which you won't )
  20. The level of work gone into this so far is amazing. Well done mate !
  21. You just want a really light weight piece of shit with a powerful reliable 1.6 or something of equal power.... What about rotory engines? Not sure how they perform without a turbo? Probably shit thinking about it... If it were me I'd probably be looking into a really cheap 1.1 saxo or something similar due to no weight and then a B16. Be easy to do for under a grand if you know how to do the work yourself and the B series engines take abuse all day long. Plus you'll have about 30-50bhp over the saxo boys depending on what they've done and what you end up doing to the engine ;)

    Front roll bar

Aup dude . I have a stock gt one if that's any good? I don't have the D bushes or caps to hold them in place I'm afraid though as they went with my old car lol
  23. I moved out when I was 21 and ended up moving back home. I don't know how to explain how hard it is to have your own place in a new town, make a new life with new people and get used to a city to just end up moving back with your parents. To add to the kick in the balls my little bitch of a sister stole my bedroom and left me with the box room to try and cram my stuff into. It was like starting all over again... again lol. Make friends again and get used to any changes at home, new job and change all details again etc... I went from feeling like I had started a new life independently back to b
