Think that might be a bit extreme for a forum. It is a forum after all not an auction site haha . If it's actually possible I'd say put a separate seller rating bar which requires a comment to post on (so it can't be sabotaged) and you write feedback as well as a rating. But I doubt the forum has that flexibility in the admin panel (regardless of money). I think the best bet at the moment is just searching the feedback section of the forum for the person you're thinking of buying from to see if they have any history. If you're super cautious you could ask for photos of the item being boxe

Just to clarify with measuring morgey, use feeler gauges with current shims in and lobes pointing up, remove cams and add the current shim thickness to the gap and subtract the tollerance required??

I've just fitted some new cams which are re grinds And require larger shims. I've heard they're available from toyota but I haven't researched yet. Has anyone done this in the past? Once I've measured the difference that I need, how do I go about ordering the shims? Does anywhere else do them or is it purely a toyota job? Cheers !!
