  1. Why do I keep getting dragged into shit with Aamir? Really don't give a shit about his petty arguments or his build thread or his breaking thread lol. I have nothing to do with him And really don't care what he does even if he has issues with me. As phil said, I'm not a mod. I'm friends with all the mods. I don't see how's it's relevant lol. This is a public forum and each member has a right to be here whether I or anyone else likes it or not. But if they don't go by the rules then their posts will be edited or moved or closed or in worse cases banned.... Fuck all to do with me. If you have a probleM with me too I'd like to hear it? You don't argue with me like aamir always seems to but I get the impression you have a grudge lol.
  2. Again I agree ... But physically... I'm not sure if it's possible lol.
  3. It's a good idea. I'm just not sure how easy it is to do with the software. From my forum building history (talking 10 years ago lol) it was all pretty set in it's way with not much to play with... Might not be possible to add a bar for seller rating.
  4. I agree this is very frustrating mate and I've been fucked over a few times myself. Currently in a dilemma with Reece Sampson as you know from Facebook. Unfortunately it doesn't matter if 90% of people have good feedback and 10% don't, there will still be another hundred or however many people that haven't been rated yet. Problem wit the current rating system is that it's just a general rating system and not related to selling parts or buying parts specifically... The closest we have is the feedback threads which is useful to be fair... We then still have the problems over facebook or ebay... All that said, Reece has 100% feedback on eBay lol. Didn't expect that I would have a problem, but then I've had nothing but shit lol. Plus, how hard is it to make a new profile. Few nobheads have done it a few times before people click on.
  5. I'm not entirely sure that is the law with second hands parts however it's a policy we will always stick by regardless if it's the law or not. We want to be the best on the market for service, pricing and reputation so will always make sure our customers are happy! If not then our procedures are more than reasonable to come to a happy solution. The customer is always right as the saying goes . Also I seem to be a message behind everytime I post lol! Stupid phone.
  6. I appreciate that phil ! I'm just confirming the description is correct and that there is no feel of play in the piston side .
  7. Also, like you say we do offer a full refund if you are not satisfied with the product within a time frame .
  8. I do jdm-ep with socks and know what condition they are in. As stated one rod is damaged due to a shell melting to it due to oil pump failure. Still more than likely usable if you're able to get the remaining shell out. We didn't feel any play within the connecting side of the rods but as you say they're from a blown engine. The price however reflects this.

  10. Dude it's facebook. No one cares about how much you spent on your car in reality. No one is going smash it up or pay you a visit lol. This term is called keyboard warrior. I've been threatened by members before because they have different opinions to me on tyres ffs lol. I waited for 4 long days at jae last year to be confronted by someone after their promise to "see me at jae" and fuck all happened. I even went to go and see their group where said member just sat there and nothing happened. Probably didn't even remember. People say shit they don't mean or don't care about because they're bored and fancy an argument lol. The only reason anything would happen is if you both hold a grudge and kick off at each other. So just forget about it and move on. No one thinks any different. Stop being so defensive and explanatory. No one cares haha
  11. Sky fucked me over with my last renewal and gave me a bogus quote on my diesel 106 run around which cost more than a 250bhp GT. I went to flux and instantly knocked it from £570 to £409 without even haggling. Next year I will be comparing my renewal from flux with greenlight to see how you compare . I've heard good things.
  12. Some serious hours have been put into that head. Great work mate! I was going to port my head whilst it was off but never looked into having it flow tested or how much it would cost. I also read up quite a few different methods on the porting and how much should really be done and where you shouldn't port as much to add turbulence into the chambers... It was all a little too much for me having never done it and thought I'd leave it this time round... But if you have any knowledge that you would share, I'm all ears and eager to learn something for next time haha . Top work! And congratulations to you both, best wishes for your future together
  13. The chips that come off are very minimal and we all know that our pulleys have chips and don't notice any difference what so ever in reality. Good idea from Wallace though gotta say.
  14. They are a little stubborn but my only advice (once the bolt is out) is to tap it from behind with a hammer whilst pulling on it with your hand to work it off... Don't be scared of breaking the lip off because it's inevitable. Even if you squash the lip into the groves a little from hitting it harder, just clean them out with a hacksaw blade.
  15. Well it's either take the seller's word and gamble it or buy a new or refurbished unit I'm afraid! £50 is more than reasonable. Sold my last one at £50 and sell them for £50 on JDM-EP as well... A refurbed unit will cost about £200.
  16. The only real method for removing them is to tap them from behind with a hammer and pull at the same time. Unfortunately it chips the lip off the back.... Even when you try use a pulley puller, it just breaks the lip off still haha. So they're all the same. Makes no difference anyway. It's not on show either so who cares haha.
  17. It's facebook after all. A website for trolling. It has no real purpose. People just go on there to spread bullshit and advertise lol. After many debates and arguments on what stuff is "worth" I'm just going to accept that people will pay what they want. Doesn't matter what others think, the owner will sell their own belongings at whatever price they like which will most likely be based on a scan through ebay lol. (which is what she would have been better off doing). Same for Aamir's EP being valued at £1,000. Loads of people that haven't been on here and been sucked into "optional extra" and "rare" items, will look at all the optional stuff and go "meh, cup holders so what, meh a foot rest so what" and having not been bothered by the little trinkets it's just an N/A ep91... Yet to someone else with knowledge of optional extras it's a gold mine. I don't think this is a problem with facebook (Although facebook is a problem of it's own lol) but more of a general problem with pricing and sale price expectations along with a mix of long serving members with good knowledge and noobs with no idea what they're talking about. Just have to wait out for someone with the same frame of mind that will pay the same prices as you... Or sell it cheaper and sell it quicker. The true answer is "Anywhere between £500 and £4k."
  18. Painted your hand too by mistake? Haha . Andy, Yes all CT9s will fit all turbo starlets.
  19. We will have a set of near brand new DD coilovers available soon on JDM-EP. I drove the car they were fitted to for about 3 hours and would say they handle very similar to meisters. I personally run BCs on my GT. They are a little firmer but still have plenty of adjustment for road use.
  20. It's still one dot inside two dots . Just it's the big dot on the exhaust cam not one of the little ones lol. I didn't even check over it to be honest. Just slapped it all together assuming it was obvious and straight forward which didn't need any attention. Lesson learnt haha.
  21. Would just like to update that I put the cams in right last night and it sorted the problem lol. All running now .
  22. Haha . Such a stupid error. Why has someone marked the gears that way in the past too!? I just glanced at them and thought "well they're in time because they're marked". Just thought it was strange that the cams are in time yet for the holes to be in line I had to turn it over a stroke. Light bulb lol... Ah well. Won't take long to take them out now and put them in time properly. What an idiot.
  23. I think I've just realised the problem. There are 3 holes on the inside of the exhaust gear which I didn't even check when I put them in... And I've lined it up with the wrong one. So I presume when the outer gear on the cam is lined up and in time the inner hole there should be between the two holes on the other gear. FUCK MY LIFE
  24. Could just swap the face over? Sell the rest on or keep as spares.
  25. Right guys! I've been doing a headgasket on my GT as it was blown between cylinder 3 and a water way... Anyway it's all back together, came to turning the key and it's not playing ball. Originally when I went over and checked everything I eventually found that (some how :/) I had timed it up wrong and the cams and crank were 180 degrees out. Fuck knows how I managed it. I was in a rush and angry at the time so whatever. I timed it again (properly) and tried again but still no ball... I wondered if the cams were out of time, but the one hole on one gear slots in line with the two holes on the other gear which is right as far as I'm aware lol. It's getting a spark at the plugs. The plugs are wet with fuel. I've turned it over without the EFI fuse and no plugs in to rule out it being flooded. It's now in time (lol) Are cams in time? The gear on the outside IS on the 4e dowel and not 5e. It has compression. I unplugged the emanage and tried just plugged into stock ECU to rule out the emanage. The distributor is in the correct timing. All earths are back in place. TPS is connected. All water sensors are connected. Map sensor connected. ICV connected. 99% sure pipes on the throttle body are the right way around as I left one on the t-body and the other on the block. Tried it with leads to my shitty run about to rule out voltage. Out of ideas lol! With the belt in time this is where the gears sit. Someone has marked them previously in the past. Rotating the cams, these holes line up. When those markings are in place the belt side looks like this. From what I've read the service hole is to be at the top (as it is on the left) so I think this is right too. Wet plugs after turning over. Trying to start it. http://s13.photobucket.com/user/AAddzz123/media/Mobile%20Uploads/20150108_154844_zpsrbir2hns.mp4.html Not a cough or splutter??? And plugs sparking... http://s13.photobucket.com/user/AAddzz123/media/Mobile%20Uploads/20150108_155554_zpsrsiwncue.mp4.html SO! If someone would like to put me out of my misery and tell me what I've missed and insult me I would happily take it right now lol. Any help or ideas welcome.
