  4. am sure its a dumb question but any idea how it regulates the charge to the battery? wondering if the wires have anything todo with that cause if there just for a light on the dash they can get choped aswell lol.
  5. aye got the other loom sorted was just the engine loom i wasnt sure on. dont supose u no how many wires come off the alternator? will be using the dta to control boost so that will be on the custom loom
  6. a dta s60pro but am running a custom loom for that. just not sure about the starter/alternator or if any have to be kept for other purposes
  7. in the engine bay loom did u just take out the starter motor and alternator wiring and scrap the rest or is there anything else that needs to be kept? cheers shaun
  8. interested to see how you get on with this next part decided how am going to set mine up but want to see if u do it different
  9. thats the engine diagram from a uk spec starlet so would need to try find one from a uk spec gt and double check but am sure if u could check the part numbers you would be fine. cant rember what iddy quoted me new but it was around 50quid am sure.
  10. ive removed the abs system and all the wiring from the loom just need to order the pipes. idrees was gonna send me what was needed all the part numbers are highlighted in yellow. but waiting till the cars been sprayed. i spent ages looking for info then sicaln said he bought all the part numbers highlighted in yellow and sold them off to simon who confirmed they worked from memory simon iddy and trisk all done it this way seems easyer than arseing around making up your own pipes
  11. u can just buy the lines from a uk spec n/a rather than making your own
  12. so you bought it lol my mate called up to go view it and was told it had just been sold 20 mins before.
  13. ive seen 4 or sale in my time on here i offerd to pay for her scoop and she disappeared then came back when i was skint and offerd it to me lol

  15. wont make a difference ull want it to be all the gt stuff as your putting it into a gt
  16. crank sensor ill go for sure id like to run squentially but ill be honest am abit lost on the cam sensor and how to make it work with the stock dizzy would it be something along the lines of choping it up and mixing it with another cars cam sensor like rob h done? http://www.ukstarletowners.com/index.php?showtopic=53321
  17. doubt the engine would run at all if u done it but if it did dont see why it wouldnt push water out the exhaust ports id certainly check it first as it takes 2 secounds before i went and took the whole head off again http://www.toyotagtturbo.com/forums/showthread.php?67023-Throttle-Body-Pipes-*
  18. dont no how much a headgasket costs but if u could be arsed driving down i got a new toyota one u can have.
  19. bad times worth checking the throttle body pipes are on the right way aswell cause that a pretty common error
  20. sweet i might go for a k20 throttle body and tps then as thats what my loom was made for. think i got everything sorted pretty much just unsure on the need for a cam sensor and best way to go about it
  21. good good honestly cant wait to see that thing on the road
