  1. hmm lots of options from stock depends if your wanting to keep the tmic or go down fmic. u could bang on a air filter get a plug and play ecu and it would make nice little change. personaly before u get a adjustable actuator ull want to get rid of the stock manifold before the restrictions in it are pretty mental ( jam do a manifold that looks just like the stock manifold but with no restrictions but its pretty rare to find) everyone has there own option on what the best way is but for me i would get plug and play ecu aftermarket manifold and decat and route the air filter to the front bumper ( re-locating the filter u would need to get rid of a/c so depends if u want to keep that or not.) after all this ull probaly suffer some boost spike so would most likely have to port the wastegate then its just a case of deciding if u want to run a fmic or stay with the tmic u can always upgrade to an rx7 or arc top mount which are ment to be fairly effective. once the stock manifolds out the way and u have some form of management ( plug and play ecu or fcd) u can get an adjustable actuator and wide the boost up and it should be pretty safe and make one hell of a difference. its a slippy slope tho lol my original goal was 200ish bhp now am aiming more down the 300-350 mark lol
  2. got loads of spares but most are stock parts ive removed to upgrade anything u looking? i have a stock head gasket and pile of seals like valve stems and what not if u will need them
  3. fensport used to do the blitz release bearings but havent had any in stock for awhile
  4. i must say ive had deals with ian a few times and never had any issues been realy helpful to me and paid the prices quoted at the start. but to be honest if a head gasket is gone it baffles me as to why u wouldnt get it skimed as a precaution. id probaly strip the engine myself and inspect it myself to see if u can see any issues with it if u can id certialy try do as much as u can urself it will save u fair bit in the long run
  5. its cheaper than weprs hybrid kit yea but thats a diffrent turbo for a higher power application. if u got it as a stock td04 turbo it would work out cheaper with wepr. not trying to say a bad word about the race-tech kits i wouldnt swap mine its bloody bomb proof. and not trying to swap his option on what kit to get if he can afford to pay extra to get the race-tech kit he wouldnt be dissapointed but i find it hard for someone to claim its the cheapest option

  7. dont doubt the race-tech kit as one of the best but i dont think u could ever claim it to be close to the cheapest lol

  9. that scoops actauly an uber rare tom's scoop never actauly seen one in the uk but that might be cause its a bit ugly lol. positive this was the glanza i wanted to view before i got mine about 2 years ago but it got sold before i had the chance to see it
  10. sky are always great untill u sign on the dotted line then after that they dont seem to careless went with a-plan this year and they seem to be good. full comp is genraly cheaper than 3rd party these days even tho all sky would offer me was 3rd party cause am to young for fully comp aparantly?
  11. also u will have to get a new flywheel seems pointless to change flywheels but not uprate the clutch at the same time i think u just have an addiction to taking your engine out the car
  12. if u want the 100bhp from a 4efe drop streetracer_starlet a pm he has a jdm 4e sitting around he doesnt need u would just have to work out how to pick it up from glasgow. but personaly id just get a turbo lump

  15. most ive sent was £1500 and paypal held it for 10 working days for "security" after that it went fine

  17. used to get stoped almost constantly for the full checks been about a year now since i was last stoped with out good reason tho as they no everything on my car i make sure is bang upto date. only times ive been pulled lately is when ive been doing something stupid which is fair play. i have to admit if i was a police officer id find it funny as hell to pull over people over nothing like a little power abuse
  18. as above if u can build it urself. far more rewarding than just giving a garage a pile of cash and saying give me more power. i went for ross pistons scat rods for the 5e but am yet to work out what spec i want for the head
  19. positive someone tryed it before but yea its a custom job and very expensive at that
  20. depends if they had the head skimmed or not and if it was all torqued down properly
