Good to hear buddy. Will be having a good look into it over the next month, will update with dates etc, once I have the information.

Car Culture is one of the shows I'm going to focus on. Hopefully will get a good trunout for it. That's what I like to hear fellas!

Still nothing to update, too hung over for this malarkey. I know Flynn, nightmare. Aye that would be a task lol.

Really not sure what to be doing at the moment. Haven't done a compression test yet, as I haven't got a hold of the tester yet. Garage cleared, car parked up. All being well, I'll have some news tonight.

At the moment, I'm working in an area that's not easy to get to. I will have to get 3 buses at a cost of £11 a day for a journey that takes 20 minutes in the car. I really am losing interest at the moment. I cant keep chucking money at it just to make it run. It owes me a fortune now and it's still not working. Money isn't really the issue, I have a bit put away for things like this, but it is a huge inconvenience. I may look into buying a cheap daily, but I know that interest will be lost and I won't be bothered with it.

who sold a modified fte intake manifold a few month ago?
Chris Green replied to motion's topic in Intake, Turbo & Exhaust
Could be tricky to modify that one. The advantage with the FTE manifold is the runners are angled. I will see if i can source of an ACIS manifold buddy. -
Tell me about it mate. In the event that it needs pulled out again and rings or valve stem oil seals done. Would anyone be interested in buying the car or be interested in the parts? I need to weigh up my options here as I need something reliable for work and it just isn't suitable to be using it ever day.

Going to get one down tomorrow. Aye, not looking positive.

Not good news, really good strong sparks once the new distributor was put on. Wont start at all now, fuel going in, good spark. No go. Any ideas?

Cheer Mickey More like build it... it breaks... fix it... it breaks lol I will find out in about 3 hours, will keep everyone in the loop. I am prepared for whatever the bugger has to throw at me. Just priced up a Full Toyota Engine Gasket Set, 0.5mm USDM Paseo Head Gasket, head bolts, new distributor cap & rotor arm and a set of Toyota Rings. Just shy of £130 Bargain! I will not be beaten, come at me bro!

Email Keith @ Zisco, he can make up better n/a manifolds. Or get some quad throttles -
Try talking to WEPR, they would be the closet to you.

Converting from 4e-fe ignition setup to 4e-fte
Chris Green replied to Chris Green's topic in Ignition & Fueling
Cheers for the info mech. I was speaking to the fella sorting my MS3 and I was advised to use the standard setup for ease. Also with the power I hoping to get, will not exhaust the stock system. -
^^What he said. The shipping costs are very high, it ok for the likes of small parts, but I certainly wouldn't be buying a bumper. Have a look on RHD Japan, (yes it is the same company) but they sell JAM bumpers, go to the check out and it will give you an idea of how much the shipping is. Last time I check it was about £400.

Tell me about it mate, it's just one thing after another. Hopefully I'll have something positive to report back later today.

Me too mate, getting pretty sick of it now. I'm picking up distributor tomorrow to see if it resolves the lack of running cylinders. Hopefully it's just a bad spell and nothing too serious lurking.

Ok, good to know cheers. I may just renew the rotor and cap then, save a few quid. -

I'm looking to run the rev limit to about 8k, don't want to run the risk of valve float. The standard setup up should be fine then?
