Converting from 4e-fe ignition setup to 4e-fte
Chris Green replied to Chris Green's topic in Ignition & Fueling
Is that the DIS setup? I've been reading into that too as it would go well with the ECU I have ordered. Not worth upgrading it then? I was looking into MSD amplifiers too, but if the standard one is up to job, happy days. -

My ignition system is on it's way out, so I may as well upgrade. Can make my own plugs, that's no issue. -
Looking at converting to an FTE ignition setup. I know that I'll need the following; Distributor King lead Coil Pack Any ideas on how to go about setting this up. I'm guessing the ECU will not run it?

Bloomfield House Hotel, 41 Euro per person. That's a triple room. 4* place, I've stayed there before
-
Ah, Somhairle's old car. Tidy example!
-
There you go mate. Will cost you a couple of quid for the complete set. http://www.amayama.com/search/?q=9020109024

That's a strange one, I got bolts & washers.

Another thing to consider is spring load / compression / extension. Personally I wouldn't bother. Have a look on the Japanese auctions, you may be able to pick some up cheap there. -
Don't think you can buy the washers separately. ID-Workz do a set for £35ish. That the bolts and washers.

Just for a change it's not me running this one. Although, I will organise the convoy down for us North Stars. A few are interested in booking a travel lodge so we can go for a drink after
-
Good man! I'll be putting this thread up on TGTT in the next couple of days. There are already a few interested over there.
-
Bumping this up guys! We need more interest for this! I've seen some cracking cars at the last few meets.
-
Will be interesting to see the difference. Jay is using one in is Auto too. You need to keep her and get the ACIS on!
-
Spoiler looks good mate. Is that a paseo 0.5mm gasket?

Did you grease they up well buddy? -
I've got a G27 and a Sportif seat lol. Love it. Back to me banging on about the new physics. The cars handle totally different. The slightest change to the suspension setup makes a noticeable difference. Same with tyres. The drifting with a steering wheel was impossible on GT5. So much easier on GT. Rallying is awesome too, just make sure you have ASM turned off. Really, really enjoying it.

I have one mate. AFC Neo is the upgrade to the SAFC. It's only a fuel controller.
-
Mine use to idle at 500 let it do this for a few weeks, then opened up the itb's.
-
Looks tidy buddy! You should keep the exterior stock, would make an awesome sleeper.
-
Total disagree Morgey, I would rate GT6 & 4, the same.
-
Realisticly you'll need to stay in a n/a until your about 21 -22 with 4 years NCB mate. I'm paying £1300 on my n/a, two year NCB and all mods declared.
