  1. Cheers for that Grant. What is the advantages of using coils or a DIS? Can an ignition amplifier be run with the standard setup and will there be any gains? Cheers.
  2. I was planning on going to JAE this year, until circumstances changed. I worked it out that going Dublin to Holyhead would cost about £150-200 more than going Belfast - Liverpool. Even factoring in fuel costs, it would probably be cheaper for you guys south of the border to travel from Belfast.
  3. Fancy taking a £10 deposit and the rest on the 15th. Just starting a new job tomorrow, so I'm pretty skint at the moment, but really want these!
  4. Not really clued up at all on ignition systems. So the question is what options are there? Coil packs - how hard to set up, pros and cons? Ignition amplifiers - once again, how hard to set up, pros and cons? Also what is DIS setup? Thanks in advance.
  5. No worries mate, was worth a shot lol.
  6. Just thinking mate, would you be interested in a trade for a Starlet Hyper Revs book in mint condition? Cheers.
  7. Would love these, just bad timing for me. If you have these in a few weeks, I'll have them off you.
  8. Is she still about Noel? Or a bad ending?
  9. The nos stuff melted my fuel lines. I had bought fuel specific fuel lines and it ate through them. Didn't see any gains whatsoever. I actually took a sample from my tank and stuck a new bit of hose with simple in a glass and within 24 hours the hose had turned soft and gooey. Make of that what you will - faulty lines or pure acid?
  10. Will be spot on mate, i have a 40mm drop with 15's and 50 tyre profile.
  11. Welcome to UKSO!
  12. Seen this pop up on speedhunters the other day, some serious amount of work gone in.
  13. Jungle is massive, wicked, wicked... What sort of power are you knocking out?
  14. You would best getting your own carbon dipped.
  15. The pot hole needs to be marked to claim it back. There is certain criteria which still needs to be met. If the wheels have been changed from the manufacturers specifications they must have the same dimensions. So if your car came standard with 15 inch wheels and 50mm tyre profile, you need to have the same spec wheels for them to pay out. My dad successfully claims for an IS200 wheel, completely standard though.
  16. What a pointless thread...
  17. Have a look through the wiki section mate. Plenty of helpful information in there. If your going TD04 make sure you have supporting mods.
  18. Cheers mate!
  19. Judging by the grille, it's a SE Navigator. My dad has the same one. Does the Altezza not have horizontal 'slats' (can't think of the correct word) across the grille?
  20. Would a set of ITB's keep the interest? If your interested drop me a PM and I could make you some up. Will be reasonably cheap too!
  21. Gallon of petrol and a box of matches
  22. Did anyone else notice the is200?
  23. You need an adjustable panhard rod, to move the rear axle back to the centre. When you lower the car it moves the axle a few mm to the drivers side.
