It's an expensive turbo haha and I will be making a ram air box kind of thing at some point. Also nearly finished the oil cooler. Just need one more fitting needed. Got all the new mounts on now. And welded an-10 fittings onto the cooler

I'm sure there is a round fuse behind the speaker on the drivers side. It's a 30a if I remember right. I know it's linked up to central locking but might do other stuff as well
-
Might need to borrow your hoe at some point haha
-
Bring sun cream for when I pass out haha

If the efi relay had gone you would still be able to crank the engine over but it won't start. There is a big fuse up behind the drives side speaker. It doesn't look like a normal fuse tho. I would see if you have power on both sides of that.
-
Do you know what side of the car you recon you heard it blow? But the relay by the glove box kills the power to the clocks and radio and stuff
-
I wouldn't expect a relay to fail after you take the dash out. It's very rare for them to fail at all. You said you took the dash out? If it was me I would be looking for a earth wire not connected
-
Thats for the big bolts that goes through the middle of the oil filter housing
-
It will be a black relay and if you open the glove box it will be to the left. That's the main relay that cuts the power whilst cranking and the fuel pump runs throw it and stuff
-
Won't be the main fuse if you have wipes and dash light. You have a stater relay in the fuse box. I would check the circuit opening relay above the glove box as well. And make sure you have power to the starter and getting a power to the trigger wire whilst cranking.

Been slightly side tracked on this. I decided to fit the oil cooler I've had sitting round for ages. Found a nice little spot for it

The ecu has 2 chips one that holds the map and one that encrypts the data. You can read the data off the ecu but can't change it due to the encryption. You need to remove both chips and install diffent ones. There is a big thread on another forum about it all

Rotex were designing a proper electric turbo charger. Be interesting to see what they are like. Would be better than your normal turbo. Just like an electric motor is more efficient than an fossil fuel engine
-
Turbo smart 50mm race port yet to hear what it sounds like tho haha
-
Is a good chance it will fit. With some racing classes you have to use stock too mounts but can have coilys. Seen it that way on starlets before
