  1. Looks really good like that. I like how the vents set the bumper off. It's not just another toms bumper now
  2. Great stuff. Can't wait to actually put my foot down in this. Going to have one boost setting and it's going to be hight haha
  3. To get it on the road I need to bleed brakes, fit some bits of the dash on. Fit seats and harnesses and finish the brackets for the exhaust. All little I'm cracking on with. Made the carbon fiber cover for breather tank
  4. Got it running fairly nice now. Done the valve clearences and they were all fine. Just a bit of good old piston slap so I'm not worryed about that. Vid of the exhaust http://youtu.be/Gzw72De3SUo
  5. Looking good pal, can't wait to hear what mine sounds like on a dyno haha What you planning to do with the car now?
  6. Need to redo the clearences. Swap a few buckets round. Nothing majour
  7. So little vid for you guys http://youtu.be/0DDTyYgg4lg Still needs a few bits sorted out and the valve clearences adjusting now I've run it up a bit
  8. Every one should bring a watering can. Will look quite funny every one watering the track haha
  9. It can be done but would need to do some maths to make sure it not going to completely f up the geometry. It's some thing I will be looking at doing soon. But I would want to make double wish bones and hubs from scratch. With loads of adjustment and using the original shocks with a few different lower shock mounting points for more adjustability. Get it dialed in perfect then.
  10. Good news! Can't believe I've never posted on this beasts thread!
  11. Need to keep into account roll centre and squat when changing suspention
  12. If you have a welder any thing is possible. Mine going to change loads over next winter
  13. A referb place will be cheaper than toyota parts + fitting as they are all geared up to replate pistons and have a loads of seals instock
  14. I done the ones on my old GT best off getting a seal kit and new pistons so that's about £150 for parts. You could take them to an auto factors like kimber friction in Southampton, specialise in brakes. They would come back looking brand new and would be zink plated
  15. Just looked at it big lol haha love the hose pipe on the roof haha
  16. The guy I work with used to do the rhd conversions on them. And he was at the factory when the helicopters came down and busted the company for fraud
  17. Would be a good idea to chech you wires on the battery. Give the wires a tug even if they look ok.
  18. Na I didn't. I had the pleasure of not knowing that half pint pie man then I've also got a couple of grape vines. Going to make some wine from them one day
  19. I actually want one of these! I know of a couple of shells and bits for them I would put a 1300 turbo engine in
  20. If you look on the back and collect 5 tokens you can get a camel sack!
  21. For true cop stand alone needed. You should be able to change the coil pack to a msd brand one if you want. Not sure on one. That would need more investigation on fitment
  22. Half a touth is not that far apart. Base timing will change between marks as well. But best way is dial gauge no doubt about that. Same sort of principal as when you put different peg holes ( 4e / 5e in this case) in for dialling in the cam. I could drill a hole in the pully and call that the 4.5E mark and the cam will still be dialled in.
