Shortys split rims are the lightest rims I've felt
-
Without the interia parts would drop the price quite alot

Move it back down and fill up see what happens Edit; because on toyota gauges the fuel needle stays in the same place when you turn the key off

I used to get around the 100mph out of my old mk2 GT that had the silver timing belt cover with the thicker rods. Then I changed engine and gear box to a newer one. That was the black timing cover engine. And could never get more than about 95 with that set up. Both were on stock ecu. I believe the thicker rod engines were only in mk1 and early mk2 the mk3 all seem to have the black timing belt cover Edit; tire size was 195/50/15 -
glanza rad fan on constant and idles up at 1900 rpm idle
turbo Grant replied to mikey4410's topic in Electronics
The first picture is the fan switch. Replacing that will fix your fan problem. Make sure the pin inside the plug isn't bent I've seen that before. And the other picture. The wire with the blue crimp on is the gauge on the cluster. The one above it is engine management and the one to the left of that is a/c related I believe -

Would be a good idea to take the throttle body off and clean it. Take the screws out the bottom and give that valve a good clean. And get some carb cleaner and spray it round the inlet and all the pipes. Most of the time you can't see an air leak -
glanza rad fan on constant and idles up at 1900 rpm idle

The valve on the end of the manifold doesn't do alot from what I've experienced. The 4efte's have 2 idle valves. The one you have cleaned out and there is one inside the throttle body. How is your idle when you first start the car from cold? -

Have you done any thing with the idle valve on the throttle body? The 2 water pipe going to it heat the wax stat inside to bring the idle down as the water/ engine heats up. But your coolant fan switch is the one on the thermostat housing facing the bulkhead. Unplugging it will make the fan stop if the sensor is faulty -
Is a race spec rocker needed to run a catch can
turbo Grant replied to Lawless's topic in Lifestyle General
Just fuck the pcv valve off and vent the engine to atmosphere. Pcv valves are only to bring emissions down and comply with new car regulations when they came out. My set up is rocker cover > catch can > floor, job done -

turbo Grant replied to mikey4410's topic in Electronics
The rad fan switctch is on the thermostat housing cap. Unplugging it could turn the fan off if there is a problem with the switch. The switch earths to ground to turn the fan on and it's a one wire jobby -
Remember you saying that. I like the sparco one haha Yeah it's a multi jet plumbed in system. For the sake of £220 it could save the car form a lot of damage. I do have a nos kit tho. The bottle is twice the size tho lol

So much work to do now. All these parts to rub down and paint. Not sure when I'm going to fit them yet. Well tempted to put the jam bonnet on now, but need a respray first. Got some better pics of the bits tho Also got the instructions for the hks rail as well

I couldn't resist it. Needed the injector plugs to face the back I was going to do it last night. But was thinking it might be best with the engine run up. Get it a bit warm first

Yeah I've been down to see Mikey B a couple of times. He gave me the skirts for free. Real top guy. The white seam welded caged shell he has is awesome. Needs to go to a good home

I bet it's like a different car. Never drove a starlet or paseo on standard suspention. But I know the paseo handles well on springs and kyb shocks or whatever it has on -
