5E and 4E crank pulleys are different - iirc the 5e crank pulley has spokes on it and is not solid like the 4efte ones

yes it will be more than plenty. its one of those things you just fit and forget about they are really strong and can handle some proper abuse

fyi clutches are rated by how much torque they can handle not HP

adjustable panhard rod question and suspension setup
H_D replied to epcashin's topic in Chassis & Suspension
use an alignment/tracking company who use hunter equipment - they have the proper geomentry settings for imports -
I have run stock clutches on applications between 150hp-200hp with a dodgy gearbox (shaft play, crunching between 2nd,3rd & 4th gear and popping out of 5th gear) and never once have destroyed a clutch. Spec clutches are weak regardless of what people think I have seen them fail many times on many different cars.

Any competent engine builder will always get the crank balanced before fitting, they will also weigh your rods and pitons to ensure they are all of an equal weight. If the engine was build by TD im sure it would have been done properly

between £600-£1000 depending on which one you go for

just bite the bullet and order an ORC 309D from RHD japan or an os geiken multiplate if you can stretch your budget. I would also stay away from competition clutches

Unable to select gears with engine running

spec clutches are utter shite, not just for starlets but also for audis and evos. stay well away from them. just check some reviews on google and see for yourself -

may also be worth making adapter plates so people can run different turbos without having to change manifolds
-
maybe try removing the boost controller and run off spring pressure, see if that helps at all?
-
if the bulb is bridging on itself it will make your fuse blow. change bulbs again and report back they are only 99p each

Thanks Gorgan. I assumed this would be the case but just wanted to know what I was getting myself into before I agreed to do it
-
no problem at all, please let me know when you can. Cheers
-
as above, if anyone has any complete rear calipers that have ceased please let me know. cash waiting. Thanks.
