  1. you got them the wrong way round dude, the top is outer and the bottom is inner
  2. had many mazda famililias in our circle - gtx, gtr and GTAE. my favourite Japanese hot hatch - only downside on these was the gearboxes but you can adapt the Toyota celica GT4 gearboxes to fit with a bit of subframe butchering, custom sandwich plate and internal flex plates making the drivetrain pretty much bulletproof

  6. vapour will be more visible in brighter light i.e sunlight... the whole point of the bigger breathers is to help crankcase vapours/gasses escape more efficiently. I highly doubt its your piston rings unless if it actually spitting out oil from the breathers.

  8. don't really care tbh - hopefully the U.K does not have any problems with other E.U countries as they will not have anyone to turn to and Russia will love this also if Trump becomes president chances are they will no longer be allies with U.K either. Basically we have just told the world to fuck off when we are probably the tiniest island on this earth.

  12. as above I just need the 3 bolt bracket that mounts up to the rear of the gearbox in good condition, the last one I purchased is too rusty so need another one ASAP
  13. Cheers Collin - I managed to get hold of one for £60. going to send it off to midland turbo for a rebuild and get the waste gate welded shut.

  16. I wouldn't worry. It will show up. its all legit
  17. if it sounded like a Scooby then you are probably running on 3 cylinders - I would check plugs and leads for moisture
  18. You csn raise compression with a thinner headgasket depending on how much surface has been removed from the head/block previously
  19. best bet is to remove the sump and re-seal it - also worth checking the cam pulley grommet on the cambelt side and crank seals as these are prone to leak
  20. the sensors/solenoids can be removed from the flrewall and the plugs can be tucked away neatly or you can chop them off the loom.
  21. you don't need to disconnect the injectors just remove the efi fuse that disables spark and fuel also do it with a warm engine
