I keep getting these annoying little electric shocks whenever I close my door after exiting the car, It also happens to passengers when they exit the car. Can anyone shed some light on this?

thats the one - just call toyota and have your VIN number to hand and tell them its a jap import, They will locate the part number and order it in. It usually takes 24-48hrs for them to receive it.

less than £20 from main dealer.

Check the loom plug for the alternator it has 3 wires on it - if they are damaged you could be getting intermittent continuity

well check it with a voltmeter when the system is blaring cat temp sensor is on the decat or cat, its the bottom sensor below the o2 sensor,

Good luck mate. Personally i dont think anyone in the right mind would swap their Glanza V for a Renault. Looks good tho.

the battery light might be an issue with the alternator, to check this turn the car on and put a voltmeter to the battery it should read between 13.9 and 14.5 volts and if it reads any lower your alternator might not be giving enough charge to the battery. The second light is for the cat temp sensor - just unplug the cat temp senor and it should not come back again.

just look at the way the indicator sits next to the headlight its not straight its obviously had a hit before.

Im working away next weekend on a mates project car and busy on weekdays untill 730-8pm.

Its not sitting correctly and neither are the lights, Looks like the car has front end damage for the lights not to line up and the bumper to hang low.

Bring it down let me have a look if your free on the weekend.

they are not needed, if you look closer at the ports where the fuses are missing there will not be any connectors for them anyway.

yes they will but at a hefty price higher than the value of the goods.
